The perfect place to stay in Dufftown! Nothing was too much trouble for Jean and Rob, who were kind, helpful and welcoming from my first phone call and throughout my stay in their lovely bungalow!. Their local knowledge was extensive and willingly shared.
The room was comfortable and warm, with everything one could think of, including a view of the garden and trees at the back; and the ensuite shower room was also modern and really well designed. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice; and even the background music was carefully chosen and just right (quite unusual!).
I shall certainly return if I'm in the area again.

What a wonderful B&B! Jean and Rob are kind, attentive, and went over-and-above to make sure we had a great time not only in Dufftown but on the drive to and from as well. Jean provided lots of sightseeing info that I wouldn’t have known without her input. My son and I stayed in a clean, spacious room with two comfortable twin beds and a nice private bath. As my son said when we left, “I really like Scottish breakfasts!” I absolutely recommend this B&B.

We are travelling with husband's brother and his wife. We have just had the first of two nights here. Jean is a wonderful, attentive, welcoming and informative host. She is also a good cook. We had a lovely breakfast this morning before hitting the road again. Our bed was very comfy and lovely bathroom.

This is an excellent place to stay. It is a quiet little corner but It is very easy to walk up from here to the town centre. The bedroom and shower room were spotlessly clean. Lovely soaps and lotions were supplied free. There is a sitting area with two lovely rocking chairs and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was amazingly good. Far more was on offer for vegetarians and vegans, beautifully cooked than I have ever found in a hotel. The options were home made too. The hosts were lovely - cheery and friendly. This is the place to stay in Dufftown in my opinion.

What a personable service and beautiful breakfast! Jean made us feel incredible welcome and was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a double room and it was very pleasant. Very close to Glenfiddich and Balvenie Castle. I would recommend staying for a couple of nights at least to see the best of the area. Jean also recommended some 'hidden gems' to us .. and as such we discovered Auchindoune Castle, which we actually liked even more than Balvenie Castle. Would definitely recommend them for B&B, one of the best we stayed at during our trip.

We stayed here for 5 nights in October 2019 while we ran in the Dramathon Whisky Marathon and made our way up from our home in Edinburgh . The hosts Jean and Rob were great from the start, they gave recommendations on the most scenic route and directions to get there.

Jean and Rob were so welcoming, we instantly felt at home and our room was perfect and spotlessly clean. We didn't have an en-suite bathroom although other rooms did but we had sole use of a great big bathroom just over the hall. This was no issue especially since we felt so comfortable here.

Breakfast was great, plenty choice and at a time that suited us. Even on our race day they ensured we got an early breakfast. Jean and Rob were so kind, always giving recommendations and they even cleaned my trainers after the race I couldn't believe it.

The area is stunning, it was autumn and everywhere you turn is just picturesque. This was actually one of my favourite holidays and I've traveled extensively and the accommodations certainly played a part.

If you want a true experience of the kindness Scotland's people have to offer forget the big hotels and book here for a more personal stay. We are booked up for next year :).

After speaking to Jean the lovely lady that has gone above & beyond for organising our family trip to the local distilleries, we look forward to visiting and staying over in June
