Visited Bensons, Southport, recently and was blown away by the service I received. A superb range of products in store which were complemented by a very knowledgeable and understanding Sales Associate (Aimee). Great value for money and exceptionally helpful staff. Keep up the good work.

We were initially told that delivery would be around 8 weeks from the date of placing the order which was ideal as we needed to clear the rooms where the sofa beds were going. We then received a call just over 3 weeks after ordering saying delivery would be the following day - we were actually out of the country at the time so couldn’t accept this, we then received a call on the following Saturday stating delivery would be the following Tue between 10:00 and 12:00. on the day I received a call at 11:55 stating the delivery was around half an hour away, they arrived at around 12:45. On arrival I was told the items wouldn’t fit through the front door so I opened up the back of the house and ensured there was a clear passage to the stairs. The first item was brought in to the bottom of the stairs, I was then told that they couldn’t take it upstairs as it was too tight & they had limited time so we were left with 2 sofa beds to struggle with later once my wife came home ( I am 60 years of age and my wife is in her late 50s) we eventually managed to get both upstairs to where they needed to be. We were very disappointed with the attitude shown by the delivery team, they really didn’t seem to want to help, just drop and run - I also noticed a strong smell of alcohol. Based on this experience I would be very reluctant to use the company again. We will be submitting an official complaint in due course.

Another new bed super king size, ottoman bed with to the floor head board.
Member of staff called Ash, came across with a knowledgeable professional manner. Very friendly and engaging.

Really helpful and knowledgable. Jamie at the southport branch was a really helpful salesman and was more than patient with our needs. My only gripe was the £30 delivery charge after you have made a purchase which is sprung on you once you have decided and made a purchase but other than that relly good experience

We purchased x2 wardrobes July 22. They were then delivered and assembled by a company they use. 1- Not installed correctly
2- Amy at Bensons in Southport had not ordered the correct matching doors received x1 gloss x1 matt. Also x5 internal extra shelves wrong size.
Called the shop to be advised it will be another x8 weeks for the items to arrive. Now December for replacement arrived but wrong door not a gloss door and no shelves!
Another call to Amy .
So eventually in January 2023 correct door has arrived and the extra shelves we had originally paid for in July 2022. For the self closing door not closing as it should. So my husband had to adjust it himself.

No compensation whatsoever no apologies either.

WILL NOT USE BENSONS FOR BEDS AGAIN OR BE RECCOMENDING THEM TO ANYONE ELSE.
DISGUSTING TREATING CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS.

Very impressed by the salesman - polite, considerate, and a good salesman. Explained all the documentation carefully and in detail. The delivery men arrived when they told me they would, and were fast, efficient and friendly. I was very impressed.

Delivered the correct item. We have paid a lot of money for the bed and the right parts haven't been delivered. We have just moved house and now can't put anything away until the correct parts are delivered. At the time of this comment, I have had no correspondence from the warehouse team despite ringing customer service this morning and being informed they would call me ASAP. We are going to have to take more time off from work for when the correct parts get delivered
