Contour cycles have gone above and beyond to service, repair and offer excellent, professional advice for my bike and all things related.

The staff (especially John) are always friendly at Contour Cycles and will treat you as a valued customer.

The original bottom bracket on my bike had an annoying creak. Contour Cycles (Jamie) gave great advice on how to upgrade the crankset so a better bottom bracket could be fitted. They managed to successfully order the parts and did a great job fitting them. Bob's your Uncle, bike is now creak free! Really pleased with advice received, service and quality of work.

This is my 2nd time I use the service from them and I am very satisfied with it. Unfortunately , I dropped 2 stars as I didn't feel valued as person. In both occasions I was there, at opening time, I had to wait 10 minutes before they opened the shop. I did not receive an apology given for it. As usual, before winter, I like to have my bike a service and I had asked for it, last year they did it straight away this time they look at me like an alien, seems like I should have know to have booked it in advance. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of it as the website there hadn't mentioned anything about it. I suggested that I could leave the bike as I was going on holiday and their reaction was worse.
At that point they didn't suggest to book it when I came back from my holiday. I had to ask if there was something I could do.
Today I got there 1 hour after the opening time to be sure to not be disappointed again. I mentioned that I had a service booked and they took the bike.
I did ask when it will be ready and they said it would be done on the day and will call me when it was ready. I got the call and went to collect the bike and they just asked me for the payment. All fine I was happy with the service on the bike and price.
I still not sure what they have done on the bike with the blu service.

This is not what I found there. Not that it is important but as they want the local to use them service they should be more friendly with the local. I wonder if they weren't friendly with me because i am Italian or because i
have an ebike and I may not be a welcomed customer. Again, they are super on the service of the bike but, there is a margin of improvement on human touch.

Wasn't sure if this shop was still going as the website seems a little out of date (the blog posts are from 2017?) until I saw the other reviews on here. I'm new in the area and was looking for help on a repair issue that's beyond my current level...I only called to see if they have the expertise on the particular part I'm having problems with and the chap who answered the call (John) was amazing! Patiently explained what might be the issue and suggested ways for me to look into it, with the offer of me taking it into the shop if it doesn't work out. I was fully prepared to take it down there if they had experience in servicing this hub, but am now happy to at least try and have a look myself and better understand the thing first. What a great attitude - really pleased to have spoken to this person and will absolutely try them if this doesn't work out and will definitely go there in future. Great stuff...thanks John!

Just had my bike bottom bracket replaced. They took it is straight away fixed it and I had it back the next day. Friendly and helpful people who know what they are doing. Great job at a decent price. Excellent bike shop.
