The guys that work here are as rare as hens teeth in london's bike shops. Super friendly, willing to take on last minute repairs and go the extra mile to help you out. Obviously really into their bikes and not just after your dollar. Cool stock as well. It's my go to for 2-wheeled matters. And it should be yours as well.

I went in here to get a spare part rather than order online so as to support a local shop. They sold me the wrong part and when I took it back couldn't refund me as I paid in cash-that's fine but I had to wait two further weeks. When it came they didn't refund the difference in price (actual part was cheaper than the original one i was sold). It also still turned out to be more expensive then I later saw in a shop down the road.
Overall I was massively underwhelmed by the experience so I'll use one of the many other bikes shops going forward.

Took my bike for full service and chain and chain wheel replacement. They replaced both without consulting me that they have changed it with a non standard (incompatible) modified parts that they had to adapt to fit the chain guard. The latter failed after a while. I took it back to them.

When I took it back they didn't even apologies for making a botched job and a mistake, they still charged me to fix it.

When I scanned the recipet to keep for future need the guy working their told me that they don't accept scanned / photo copies! Is this someone you trust?

I don't recommend them.

Full service of a single speed bike - the staff was really helpful, went step-by-step through all the parts, advising on the work required and offered different options for component replacement. Job done in less than 24h with 2 phone updates. But that depends on how buys they are obviously.
Bike works flawlessly and they offered to readjust bits later when they become loose.
Having said all that - my partner went in few days later for a lightweight service on her bike and after picking it up discovered that the rear gear shifter is broken and the brake is really squeaky. They offered to replace the shifter and adjust the brake but that was an unnecessary extra trip to the shop.

EDIT: just checked the price of some components given: shop charged roughly twice the market value pointing the finger at Brexit as the reason for the price spike. I know it's hard to compete with the bigger players but this is taking the piss.
There goes my trust guys...

Friendly and helpful. I was able to book my bike in for a service on the same day that I called. My bike was ready on the same day too. They cost the same as the larger bike stores found in Waterloo and Dulwich. It felt great to support a local business. I'll definitely use them again to service my bike. I'd recommend them to my friends too.

Took my bike in to get the wheel trued and just for a general service. They talked me through exactly what needed doing to the bike, costing it up per part i needed. Seems like they've done a really great job, the bike is running like a brand new bike again! Love it. Friendly staff and reasonably priced, i'll definitely be going back.

Went to Seabass to support a local business rather than go to a big chain name (which I usually go to for convenience). Had a service done and some replacements, had several problems changing gears that had never occurred before post-service. Then the rear mech went completely and had to take it back again....charged £140 for the further fix (which to be fair included a replacement tire and wheel rim). Several items were way more expensive than at rival shops and shop communications about progress / prices not brilliant (prices were higher to what they told me and they did not confirm before doing the work!). Shame, would like to recommend but cannot given service and attitude and will be back to the chains in the future.

Excellent cycle shop for buying bikes, services etc. Very helpful staff. Worth making the trip if you’re looking for good independent bike advice.
