Bike & Run

I am shocked by the owner’s comments on the review below. I heard the conversation with your colleague, and she was unnecessarily hostile and unhelpful. My friend called to get help with running shoes and instead got a condescending lecture. If you read down the other reviews you will see other people have had the same bad experience. The fact that the owner has commented to further insult a customer who had a bad customer experience at his store is terrible.

I could not recommend them. Not friendly. They charge fairly high prices for safety checks. Not upfront over full cost. They want to sell their own bikes rather than provide bike related services but they do not appear to be particularly interested in bikes, only in the prices they can charge. They are local which is a plus. The fitted parts rattle a bit and I will still need to tighten bolts. The wheels had not been pumped. I will be taking the effort to go further away and find a real bike shop.

Went in after I messed up my rear-brakes. I couldn't recommend this store more! Gave them a call and was given an estimate, the estimate was spot-on and my rear brakes were fixed in under 15 minutes. Very professional, would recommend to anyone 10/10!

A huge thank you to Bike and Run for the fantastic service I received from them today!!! My e-bike chain, which isn't very easily accessible because of a chain guard, had come off in the midst of my commute tonight. I was so lucky that Bike and Run happened to be nearby when it happened! Frankly, I didn't think I'd get the issue sorted tonight and braced myself for a long walk home pushing my bike. Even though it was 20 mins before their closing time and I had no appointment, they very kindly took at look at the bike and fixed the problem (which turned out to be a loose chain plus a loose rear brake) very quickly and at a low price. I'm very grateful and will come back for future repairs and bike services!

I chanced upon this store while I was in Finchley on a visit. Despite the somewhat busy atmosphere, I was seen as soon as possible and given the best advice I’ve ever had about riding and bicycles. The service provided by Sally-Ann and her tall male colleague was sterling and will be picking up my bike soon.

Top-notch bike maintenance, jobs big and small. Steve will fix rather than replace where possible. Couldn't be happier.

Great local bike shop! Got one of my Brompton tyres replaced. Fair price and competent service. He even gave me a little ring to keep my light attachment in place and didn't even charge me for it. Can happily recommend this shop and will be coming back!
