Velosport

Terrible customer service. I took my bike in before to have the gears adjusted and when i got it back my bike was making a creaking noise. When I rang up Monday, they booked me in to come in on Wednesday 9am. Once i arrived as they said at 9am, they didn't have my booking and the mechanic who looked at my bike was extremely rude and dismissive. Clearly because he was late to work and still in his cycling gear so not ready to start work at 9am and he handed me over to Mario. Mario then started looking at my bike and was more helpful however said he was too busy to look at my bike which i explained that i was told by Mervin that i had an appointment when i rang on Monday. Then Mario brought me to Mervin and asked me if i had listened to the words that Mervin had said because there is a difference between take the bike to look at or take it in to service. This is not something that i was told there was a difference between. So i just took my bike and left the shop without them fixing an issue which they had caused. The people in the shop were rude, unhelpful and extremely unhelpful. I have seen comments when i first took my bike in about reviews of the people working in the shop being rude but i was desperate to fix my bike and thought i would give it a go. However, I now know what they meant by that and will not be ignoring reviews again. DO NOT GO TO VELOSPORT UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO BE SPOKEN TO BADLY AND WANT A BAD EXPERIENCE.

I had a problem with my pedal and cycling shoe he went above and beyond to get me back on track and safe. Also gave advice on things I need to check on bicycle to get optimum performance. Can express enough how his attitude completely restored my faith that there are kind people out here. Willing to give without any ulterior motivation

I used Velosport to make a general service on my bike. I think the service was ok but was way too pricey (£180 total with new chain and break pads). This is the highest I paid for similar work and replaced parts so I won't be using Velosport again in the future. Plus the info they have on the website is very misleading, it is stated e.g. "A General service includes: Gear and brake inner cables replaced (and outers where needed), Brakes set up, pads checked for wear and replaced if needed", however they charged for the cables and pads.

Brought in an old bicycle full of spiders and dust - for a new inner tube and Mika and Mervyn did an excellent job of fixing that AND all the other problems that come with a bicycle being left in a heap for five years or so!! Five stars. Highly recommended!! Many thanks to both.

Great service and friendly staff. Have been in there twice over the last couple of months once with a flat tyre and once with gears that needed adjusting. On both occasions my problems were fixed on the spot while I was waiting.

I would rate Velosport more than 5 stars for various reasons.. 💯 customer service, 💯 professionalism. The two mechanics who worked on my bike Mikie and Mario are the best mechanic in the UK.
So I went to Richmond park with two friends of mine couple of months ago for a ride. We pop into Velosport on our way back. The guys were so friendly and professional that I booked my bike inn for service as it was way over due. I have to travel all the way from Dagenham to Upper Richmond. After the service, my bike rides like Mario and Mikie has put Ferrari engine in my bike.. Also thanks to the friendly manager who gave me some discount on a chain set I purchased.

Came in with a puncture, the current team offered me the tools I needed to fix my puncture, granted that I had a spare inner-tube. Special thanks to Mikah who was an absolute legend providing me with tips and tricks along the way. Fantastic staff, would recommend 10/10

I went into VeloSport a few weeks ago because I wanted my saddle adjusted. The person who helped me with it was kind enough to ask what the issue was. I told him about the problem I'd been having finding a new saddle after I gave away my old battered one. He suggested I contact Giant to source my old saddle which had been a great fit. I didn't do that but i did the next best thing. I found my old saddle model online and ordered it from Taiwan. I am now looking forward to bike rides again. 4 rather than 5 stars because I can't comment on the goods in the store. But 5 out of 5 for Customer service. So helpful. I really appreciated the help and advice of that employee. I didn't catch his name unfortunately.
