Balfe's Bikes Islington

I had an issue with my left brake and handle bars. This isn't the first time I've used Balfe's, previously receiving top top service hence why I return. Ed (the man) took the time to look at my bike, made some quick changes, and my bike was ready to go within 5 minutes.

Really appreciate the time and effort that 5 minutes took to get me back on the road. Thanks again to Ed and Balfe's Islington.

I rushed in this morning as my chain hadn’t just come off, but managed to get completely stuck in the bottom bracket. At the shop David quickly removed the chain guard, got things unstuck (turned out to be a bit of a mission) and I rolled out just in time to teach my lunch classes in Soho. Really appreciated the speedy fix alongside brilliant and friendly service. Many, many thanks!

Excellent service from Balfes. I phoned up late on a Sunday afternoon with a carbon seat post issue and they agreed to fix it for me the same afternoon. Extremely happy with there prompt professional service and they have given me great faith in there workmanship. Definitely worth a visit ⭐️

Super helpful and welcoming team - came on a Sunday morning for a valve issue. Tubeless tyre was flat. They fixed it immediately so I could go on my bike ride - nothing to compare to other bike shops where they always asked you to come back later or leave it for a week. Definitely recommend!

Went in because my seat post clamp kept slipping and I couldn’t tighten the bolt enough as it was worn. An excellent staff member found the appropriate sized bolt, cut it down to size and voila.
Tried to offer them payment but was refused.

I fell over in my first week on the road, far away from home and the bike didn’t work. I was so upset and thought that this sport might not my type and was ready to quit. And then I just search the nearest bike shop and stepped in. Just seconds my bike turned right soon! It happened so fast I am still not understand how they did it. They were so kind and welcoming and didn’t charge me a penny! Now I promise to myself to keep cycling from now on. Absolutely amazing place! I had a problem with my seat clasp, was helped immediately- issue sorted! Plenty of good bikes to choose from, plenty of welcoming space to come in with your bike, staff attentive so not a long wait.

Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. My experience of buying an e-bike as well as after sales support has been positive. I have also shopped other cycling related items from the store and have no complaints on service, delivery, advise and exchanges to date
