A real gem, Russ is a top guy and his work is spot on, he goes above and beyond to help out. It's great to have someone who you can fully trust work on your bike, his pricing is honest and reasonable and he is miles better than the mechanics in the big chains. I would 100% recommend him, your bike will feel brand new after he has worked on it.

Russ has helped with a range of different bike related issues. He's super friendly, efficient and the work is top notch and great value. He uses intuitive and (at times) unconventional methods to solve tricky issues. A real handy man offering a bespoke custom service.

Highly recommend.

Excellent service, helpful and straight up :) fixed my bike quickly, suggested a range of parts so I could chose to fit my budget and explained what I could expect from it. There is a free tune up on repairs within 6 weeks too. Definitely recommend

Broke my bike in the morning and needed it for work. Came into the shop and it was fixed in 20 minutes. Amazing service, can't recommend enough.

Nice 1/2 hour conversation about bikes with Russell, bike mechanic. In the meantime chainring exchanged and front derailleur adjusted on my winter bike. All works perfectly now. Strongly recommend this guy. Respect... Nothing changed. Still like to visit this guy. Few things to do after winter. He knows what I'm talking about but he looks extremely busy now. Fuel prices plummeting so more people planning to go on the bike 🙂 Still busy but if you book in before, everything what you have to do will be done 👍

100% recommend! My bike had seen better days and he had it fixed up in no time, running better than ever! Super friendly guy, gave me loads of tips on what’s best for my bike, couldn’t be happier with my bike, thanks Russ

Fantastic experience - Russ is super friendly and fixed my bike at very short (ie zero) notice.

I went in to get a puncture fixed because frankly I was too lazy to take 30 mins to dig out my pump and tools and fight with tight tyres etc, and it's nice to support your local store.

Aside from fixing it on the spot, he also noticed how out of whack my rear spokes were and trued those... immediate improvement/ No wonder it felt like I was riding with the brakes partially on.

All that and good value on parts and servicing compared to many/most/maybe all other places - and no waiting. I love that Russ will just fix the parts you need. In some places you have to wait days (or even weeks) for a full service.

Ironically, I got a puncture the next day, but not Russ's fault! I had had 3 punctures in the last 6 months and he showed me how thin my rear tyre was, so we discussed alternatives... now have a bulletproof (well, I won't test that supposition) back tyre that rides much faster on tarmac yet has better tread in mud and gravel.

No hard sell at all, just an honest suggestion and recommendation and was very happy to go with that - and it's paying off.

There are lots of good bike stores and mechanics in Bristol (see my review for Ben's Bikes or what the Trek store did for me), but Russ will be my first stop for future repairs.

Thanks Russ.

Took my 2nd hand bike for a service - transformative - it now rides like a dream! Smooth gear changes, responsive breaks, rides whisper quiet. He noticed stuff I never would have and even gave it a test ride himself to check it over. Would definitely recommend
