Very happy with the service I have received from Dorvics recently. I am mad with myself that I have not used and supported this local business before. I feel like I am riding a new bike (mine is 18 months old) and used almost every day. I took it in as my gear change was out and my back brake did not work after having a puncture repaired at Halfords! I
I was told the only only bike mechanic was away for 2 weeks so nobody was available to fix my bike. I thought Dorvics would be expensive for servicing etc... how wrong I was. I was given a quote before they did anything and were very honest. My bike really is a pleasure to ride again now. I highly recommend them and will no longer go anywhere else. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I brought my road bike in having ridden it for 7 years with no services, expecting the cost of fixing it to outweigh the replacement cost. However, I underestimated the service provided by Carl and Tim at Dorvics.

Tim did a brilliant job of restoring my bike to its former glory. He replaced the bottom bracket, handle bar tape, cables, cable protectors, chain, lubricated all the bearings (I had been told by another shop they needed replacing) and he even cleaned and polished the bike. All this for £155, including the parts!

Having now moved to London I will still be bringing my bike back to Dorvics whenever it needs something.

Fantastic service; took bike in at 0830 with damaged spokes and slipping gears; all sorted by lunchtime. Fantastic job; reasonable price; will definetely be back.

Purchased a Raleigh E Bike just before lockdown, as ever fantastic service, I know the staff have put a lot of effort in keeping bikes on the road for key workers and that is massively appreciated.
Whenever I take my bike in I have 100% confidence that the work will be to a high standard and that if they tell me that something needs replacing then it definitely does.
Can't recommend highly enough, a pleasure to deal with.

Seems a good shop, very helpful staff, BUT!!! £25 labour charge to replace a rear sprocket which cost £14.50 which took 5 minutes, come on £15 maybe and you'd have a good reputation for being fair, went and bought my own extractor tool for £6.50 from Halfords will do my own next time, sorry but will only use you again if I absolutely have too.

Used the online form on the Dorvics website Easter Sunday to enquire about new inner tubes and perhaps tyres for my bike and opening times due to lockdown; got an immediate response from Barry. Went in this morning and they checked my tyres and told me they didn’t need changing. Left everything with them and hey presto they were done within the hour. Now that’s definitely what I call service. Great work, will definitely be back for all my bike needs.

If you have an issue with you bike in Leighton/Linslade I would definitely take it to this shop. I walked in with a busted wheel and within 2 minutes of me just standing there they had identified what wheel size and inner tube it was and quoted me on the spot. I still had the wheel in my hand!! Very reasonably priced for a Carrera wheel. These guys know there stuff.

Put my bike in for a service. It came to £88 which i was abit shocked by as i didnt think a bike service would cost anywhere near that. In the past i have always used halfords and its beem less than half the price. I try my best to use all the local independent shops but i vant justify paying that much just to replace a inner tube anf service the brakes

Purchased a State Bicycle Fixed Gear bike with Pete at Dorvics and I could not recommend these guys enough!

So polite, knowledgable, happy to help and genuinely seem to have a love for all things 2 wheels. Was more than happy for me to test out a bike around the block and assisted in selecting the right size.

Bike was with me in a week later all built up, checked over and rides a dream.

For all your cycling needs, this is the place. Especially Pete!!
