Halliwell Jones Chester BMW - Sales Department

Went there today with my wife. She needs a new car. Money to spend, something like an X6M.....not one new car sales person available. We waited maybe 40 mins. Whilst we were there I saw a bike I would love the new K1600B could have easily bought on the spot not one sales person available. Wow. How awful. Have to love generic responses from/to "marketing"...can do better.

This is the best dealership we have ever dealt with. First contacted them on a Tuesday, and drove away in the new vehicle on Friday. They are friendly, efficient and effective! Theo Wolff in particular was knowledgeable and helpful, and brought a very human touch to the whole process. Thank you! Owen and Linda Bull.

Booked my BMW R1200GS motorcycle in for a service and MOT at short notice, and was fitted in nicely, also was informed it was on the list for a shaft drive service upgrade (recall), all work carried out efficiently, by Alex, and they even loaned me a bike to get home on while it was in for the work, well done to the guys and girls on the reception desk as well. Next year will be the turn of my R1200RS, at service and MOT time, see you then. Great experience.

Called in to view stock of 1 series. After 20 minutes not one person approached to ask if we needed assistance. All were chatting to colleagues and joking about. Disgraceful. Lost a sale. Will be using Williams in future.

Dealt with Mark Jordan at Chester Sales. Excellent employee. Nothing too much trouble. Kept all promises. Delivered on time.

My advice is to steer clear of the Halliwell Jones warranty if you're offered it. Peter Moorhouse assured me it was just as good as the BMW warranty and it very clearly isn't. My fault for not checking properly but I trusted the dealer.

Bought a used bike recently at a good price. Big thanks to Craig Jones who was really helpful from start to finish. A pleasure doing business. Many thanks.

Found a car they had on autotrader, called up spoke to peter M who was brilliant at his job. Left with a 6 series GT.
