Great service and deliver free locally. I need wood, I walk to collection area and have a chat to the warehouse man and he almost always find me an off cut and a fraction of the price. Top guys and very helpful with questions except the bloke in glasses at the desk he needs a good elbow to cheer him up. Yes you know who you are misery guts. They have even lent me tools to break up some pallets for my projects, can't recommend enough.

Fantastic company. Been renovating my house over the last 6 months and have been here pretty much everyday. Staff, Management and drivers are always lovely and happy to help.

Straight forward , easy , quick service and no hassles getting the wood I wanted cut to measure. Nice friendly and helpful staff and they seem to have a great range of building products and materials. Easy access and parking and nice one way system to maximise health and safety. I highly recommend you visit this store in swad . Will definitely be returning soon for some more bits for the new house. 😃

I rang Build base in Hatton and explained the care Home I work in was doing a beach themed day and needed help with getting some sand. The manager from the store in Hatton was so helpful and kindly donated some sand for the home, with out the help of build base our beach themed day would not be happening a cant thank build base enough. I would highly recommend build base and will always use build base for any purchases I need for my home

Phoned ahead to check they can cut some ply sheets. Told to turn up after lunch and they could do that no problem. Turned up and was told they didn’t have time or staff even though they said they could. Rubbish customer service so went to another local company that could. Great experience for a first time customer that won’t return to this company.

OK, BUT ALWAYS CALL AHEAD!!!! Website said 9 Items in stock at Swadlincote branch. Traveled 9 miles to collect, went to counter only to be told "We a got any of them left mate" very frustrating.
