Liked: Showers and toilets are SPOTLESS. The cleaner is doing a fantastic job.
Finding the site was really easy too.
Electric hookup worked really well.
Woodland walk was great for the dog. Didn't use it but there's a dog shower. Washing up and laundry facilities are top notch. Water points are really close to all pitches. Plenty of space for kids to play as well.
Lots of room between pitches.
Information prior to visit was really clear
Got a lovely welcome from staff on our arrival as well as a map and just felt really friendly.
Camp was really quiet at night (barring Road noise) so is a great place for getting some rest.
Park is clean and well maintained.

Disliked: We were told to move our car once we had unpacked but this policy didn't seem to be applied equally to everyone. A very minor dislike!

Liked: We enjoyed the campsite. We had a great pitch that was, for the most part, in the shade. The people were friendly and the noise stopped at a reasonable time. The facilities were clean and tidy. We were happy with the fact that dogs were allowed and they even had a woodland walk for them.

The staff introduced themselves when we arrived and showed us to our pitch which was a pleasant surprise.

The pub and small shop that are close are also worth a visit.

Disliked: We were asked to move our car away from the pitch in order to allow children to play. (We didn’t have any children playing near our pitch) However we had explained to the staff that we had an air bed issue and the car may be needed in the night as a sleeping space. We felt an allowance could have been made as my mum had to sleep in the car the prior night. It seemed as if others were not following the no car on pitches rule.

The facilities are lovely however with the amount of people that are pitched up staying there were not enough showers/ toilets for the morning rush.

We found that the pitches were based quite closely together. We thought that if they had lessened the amount of people staying then there would have been more space for everyone to spread out a bit rather than an overcrowded feeling.

We were lucky that our pitch was tucked in the corner as we would have been a bit disappointed if we were elsewhere due to the lack of space.

All in all I would say it is an ok campsite and probably great if you have children but as an older family we wouldn’t come back.

Liked: Nice and clean site, flat. The warden took some time to pitch us so that we had some shade from the sun. The wardens were very helpful and friendly with one staying on site all the time. Toilet block very clean and well maintained, you can still use it during cleaning times and there are extra facilities outside the main loos.

There is a pleasant (short) walk through the trees on one side of the site, the whole site has a countryside feel to it. Very good for tents due to the flat site and plenty of hardstanding as well.

Good for children as they can run wild in the centre of the site with footballs, tennis etc.

Disliked: Had some dodgy people in who were very drunk/drugged and singing loudly at night which they posted online. (details withheld!) Warden threw them out the next day after this was bought to their attention.

Right by the main road which is a dual carriageway, you cannot turn right with a trailer on the back since not enough room in the centre where you will have to stop. Main road noisy and constant traffic all night. We knew this going in so ok for us - so do consider your approach carefully and only turn left into the campsite. We came in on the m20 and left via the m2 to avoid a u turn.

Liked: Clean shower & toilets. Not shared. Small campsite but lovely and relaxing. Would 100% go back. 3 nights wasn’t enough for us. Dog friendly too. Loved having bbqs of evening.

Disliked: Unfortunately no park or anything for kids to play on but the kids still had a great time making friends and riding their bikes.
Pitches a little bumpy but nothing major didn’t really bother us.

Liked: The site was superb and the toilets and showers were kept clean at all times. The host was very friendly and helpful to explain everything. The pitches were of good size and overall a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back here.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: A very friendly welcome and shown to pitch
The duty manager provided a longer power cable free of charge
No wedges required as the camper van pad was perfectly level.
The site was compact and beautifully maintained
Ball games allowed on the center field and used.
Toilets and showers excellent and well maintained.
Waste, Chemical disposal and water sites situated equally around the site and well maintained.
The best site we have visited in the last two years. It should be an example of how to run a mixed caravan, motor home, camper van and tent site to prospective owners/managers.
Thank you Oak View for a very pleasant stay

Disliked: Not so much 'disliked' but be aware from the link road from the site onto the A229 to head south to Maidstone, requires crossing a busy dual carriageway with a central reservation.

A very well run and peaceful holiday park.
Facilities are really good with excellent showers, toilets, dish and clothes washing areas.
Multiple areas for chemical toilet and grey water disposal as well as fresh water fill up.
A good number of electric hook ups are available too.
There is quite a lot of space between pitches, with mature trees that all add to a pleasant and peacful atmosphere.
Thank you Ruth, for such a pleasant stay.

Liked: This site was one of only a handful that seemed to be open at this time of year for us to try out our third motor home. Ruth welcomed us immediately and informed us of everything we needed to know - she also walked us to our pitch. We also spoke to the on site warden who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of service points around the site, immaculate shower/toilet blocks which had HOT water not just tepid!!! We liked the fact that there were cubicles that were self contained (toilet, wash basin and shower all in one). Excellent indoor washing up facility. Our hard standing pitch was level so no need for chocks. Best tv reception we’ve experienced so far. Short walk (15/20 mins) to the local pub which does serve food although we didn’t eat there. Walked back the scenic way through some lovely countryside. We will definitely return. Well done Oak Hill!

Disliked: Nothing.
