Liked: Loved the campsite, clean pitches, which were nicely spread out so your not too close to your neighbours. Toilets were lovely and clean, always being cleaned, always stocked well for hand soap and toilet roll, separate shower with door so you didn’t get the floor wet while trying to get dressed, which I loved! Nice and quite. Washing machine and dryer there for use as well, which is handy if staying for a long time. We had such a lovely trip that we extended! The lady who runs the campsite is lovely! Knew lots about the village and where to go and what to do in and around the surrounding area. Lots of things to do, lovely beaches near by. Nice dog walking field just behind the pitching field, and also a lane you can walk through as well, nice coastal walks. Sea views from campsite which was a bonus. Village within walking distance for fish and chips, pubs, and your local convenience store, with all the basic things you’d need while you stay there, or Asda and Morrisons only 20 minutes drive away. Overall a lovely site, lovely owner and would definitely recommend staying here. Would 100% go back in the future!

Liked: My pitch was at the very top field, it had wonderful views and was so quiet and had a very convenient gate so I could easily walk my dogs off site.
I was warmly welcomed and the site is beautifully situated for Hartland Village and it’s lovely cafe (brilliant breakfast !) and hostilerys.

Disliked: The showers are a little tired and there isn’t any lighting on the pathway down , just some low solar lights to mark the way would be helpful.

Liked: The site was ideally located with lots of places to visit within an hours drive. The showers and toilets were well appointed and kept clean and tidy at all times.
The pitch we were in was plenty big enough for our tent and car with the electric hookup doing the job.
We loved it and will gladly stay again!
The village was 5 minutes walk and had 3 pubs a small grocery store and a wonderful fish and chip shop!

Disliked: Nothing!!

Liked: Small quiet campsite. Toilet & shower facilities close by and kept very clean. Decent size pitch with power as requested. Lady owner (I assume) was very friendly & extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Easy short walk to Hartland which has three pubs & a couple of convenience stores - perfect!

Absolutely loved staying here. It’s important for me that the Shower and toilet facilities are clean and I could not fault them. The cleaner really does a great job.
We received a friendly welcome, the pitch was perfect and the location is superb.
Some great pubs within 5 minutes walk; my particular favourite being the Kings arms.
The coffee on the square cafe offers lovely cakes and a great selection of food and drinks.
Certainly worth staying here if you want a lovely site close to some lovely walking spots.
Thanks to all the Hartland staff and to Nigel who resides there with his gorgeous dog Mimate.

Liked: Very friendly, peaceful site with basic amenities very clean. Perfect for travelling between Devon/ Cornwall. Becca was so welcoming and tailored her recommendations to our family. Little fishing lake was brilliant for our 14yr old son who enjoyed independence their safely as it’s just behind a hedge on site. The whole place was really peaceful & a great base to travel around North Devon & Cornwall. We will definitely return :-)

Liked: Friendly welcome by the owners, we enjoyed our stay. It was easy to get too and part of the village which lovely. The showers were good and always clean, the pitches large and all the other facilities we needed were on-site.
We had a very nice pub meal at The Anchor Inn and sat next to the log fire which was lovely after a beautiful walk through the woods, with a little bit of rain! The pub was just 4 mins walk from the site and everywhere was dog friendly which was fantastic. There were two good shops, a nice cafe and two other lovely pubs in the village. We will definitely be coming back, thank you :)

Liked: The owner was lovely and gave us loads of info about what to do and where to go with the dogs. The views (on a good day) are phenomenal. The village is lovely with a variety of decent pubs all within walking distance.

The facilities were spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water. There's lots of room. It was calm and quiet and we had a lovely few days.

Disliked: The shower block badly needs updating, but given it was clean I didn't mind so much. The whole site is a bit rough around the edges, but again, during the summer, it must be quite idyllic set among the fields with those amazing views. Difficult to get level.

I forgot to get the wifi code and didn't like to ring and get it.
