This the second time I have used the team at Formula One Autocentre at Tritton Road Lincoln and again received excellent service. Had tyres fitted to 4 x Land Rover Steel Wheels, new valves and balanced to perfection.

Did my MOT there and it failed on amber light that I've managed to fix within 30 min after MOT so went back to hear that I need to make new booking, luckly they had 2 slots next day but again being on time been told to wait 30 min. When asked why is it so complicated their answer was that it's all system fault as they have to log back in for my vehicle. Price was good and place looks good but comparing to other places where for re test you just drive back any time (hassle free) it looks poor especially if you haven't got much time. In my eyes it was lack of will to sort it in smooth way

Had both my cars MOT'd here. No issues, treated politely and work carried out in a timely manner. Results explained simply. No problem recommending this branch

I ordered two tyres online, got an appointment that was fine and took the day off work for it. Day of fitment, I called to see if I could add to the order four tyres instead of two. It turns out it's not possible as the tyres are ordered in. No problem, I'll have the two done and come back another time. Two hours later, I get an email;
Hi, regarding your tyre order, unfortunately we have just been made aware that your tyres were cancelled by our supplier and haven’t been delivered, the centre have told us you now need 4 tyres so we have cancelled this appointment and refunded you for the 2 tyres, then you can either place a new order online or contact the centre directly and book with them then pay in store. Thank you

It seems to me that they have room for improvement. But overall efficiency was quite high. We drivers have to deal with the lack of mechanics, which can be a real pain at times. Eventually, I'm sure they'll be looking to hire more people. They don't work with DashCams, which is a bummer. I'm looking forward to using their services again.

When my vehicle was recovered to Formula 1 Autocentres; I informed Barry (who I believe is the owner/manager) that I had booked my vehicle in for repair via WhoCanFixMyCar just after I had broken down on 28th October. I even showed him the email confirming that the booking had been confirmed and I was quoted a price of £413.67 for a clutch repair. I also showed him my call log which showed that I called numerous times on 29th October but it just rang out and there was no answer. However, the manager was rude to me advising that I hadn’t booked it via him, he hadn’t received no confirmation, that they were closing now so he wouldn’t be doing it on that day and he had other customers to see first. I then waited while he served two other customers and he then went on to advise that the cost of the repair would actually be over 700 pounds and not what I was quoted and that he couldn’t complete the job until Friday 4th November. Given that the RAC advised they could only do one drop off when recovering my vehicle; I felt I had no choice but to have this garage repair my vehicle.

On 4th November at around 4:30pm, I waited until 6pm in the waiting lounge and I saw Barry coming into the lounge advising other customers their vehicle was ready whilst ignoring me. Then as it reached 6pm, I went to his office and asked him when my car would be ready and he then went on to tell me that he called me a few times earlier to advise the vehicle wouldn’t be ready. I told him that I didn’t received any missed calls from him and he didn’t even check if he had my correct mobile number, he just went on to tell me that it wasn’t ready. I then asked when my vehicle would be ready and he then said it would be Monday or Tuesday. Again, I went to the garage around 4:30pm on Tuesday 8th November, Barry asked if he had called me; I advised no. He then said he told me he would call when it was ready. Again, I felt like he kept gaslighting me because he wouldn’t give me the chance to talk. I wanted to tell him that he only told me Monday or Tuesday and that he didn’t say anything about calling me but I just felt like he was very dismissive every time I tried to talk. I waited until around 5:30pm and he told me again that the vehicle wouldn’t be ready until Wednesday. I then asked what time and he said around 10am. On this occasion, he did actually call me on Wednesday 9th November to advise that my vehicle was ready. Even though, my repairs were delayed by 5 days over the original estimated completion time; he never apologised for the inconvenience or informed me in advance to advise of this nor did he provide a courtesy car or expenses for accommodation to stay in Lincoln whilst he repaired my vehicle.

Also, since receiving my car back; the clutch still appears to be slack and my car jerks when changing gear. My car doesn’t seem the same post-accident and post-repair. However, I’m afraid to take it back, just in case I get gaslighted again and charged further fees for any extra work. I also live in Birmingham so it would be a major inconvenience to travel there again. I would score 0 out of 5 if I could but it doesn't allow me to. I will not be using this garage again.

Highly recommended! Always take my car here. Excellent staff and amazing service. Big shout out to Barry on reception, who helped me with some documents I needed for a lease company. Emailed them immediately. Couldn't be more helpful.

Walked in off the street without booking. The manager and staff were brilliant and headlight replaced quickly and efficiently.
