Formula One Autocentres - Redditch

06/09/2022 - had two rear tyres fitted on my Range Rover (pre arranged appointment) professional and friendly service provided by staff. Competitive price for tyres. Very happy and will definitely use garage again.

When visiting family in the area the air con stopped working in our car (in the middle of a heat wave too). Where most places were either not answering their phones or saying they couldn't fit us in till next week (after our holiday). Formula One Autocentres managed to fit me in immediately and within 45 minutes I was driving away with the air con working. Top notch service and friendly staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Fantastic service 5*

I booked my car in online for Saturday and purchased the 4 tyres online aswell as a wheel alignment check and winter check . I drop my car off sat morning at the arranged time and then get a call a couple of hours later to say they somehow don't have my rear tyres in stock which I payed for 4 days earlier . I then agree ok change the fronts and do the alignment check and I will call in after work in the week for the rears to be changed . I go to collect my vehicle in the afternoon to my surprise they didn't change any of my tyres and said they will just do them all in the week instead. Surely it should have been checked before I arrive with my car that the parts I've payed for have arrived and they can carry out the job I requested. Not very happy with the service provided or lack of communication that my tyres was not in stock or arrived .

Visited for new brake pads and discs.

I love going to formula 1, the guys are always friendly and polite and they don’t rip you off. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because this time they broke the pressure sensor in my wheel so now I have a bigger bill to get this fixed. any other time I’ve been they would have had 5 stars ⭐️

I have been to this branch twice in 2 years. On the first occasion they quoted and when I got there they didn't have it in stock, only a more expensive brand.

This week I rang up 2 days in advance and made an appointment having spoken with the "Assistant Manager" who had then 4 tyres of that type in stock.

I travelled 30 miles round trip to collect an elderly relatives car and make the appointment. Once there the "Manager" this time stated he didn't think they had enough of them in stock. He checked and confirmed that was the case.

I asked him how he was going to resolve this and highlighted my disappointment yet again. His response was that he'd only been there a year and he could order some in.

I'm afraid I won't try them a third time, and the manager is aware I was going to post on this.

I then went to a nearby alternative supplier, as I was nearby, and the staff at Mr Tyre near Lakeside offered a super service. What a difference.

Last time l visited wasn't a very good experience. I paid for new front tyres and alignment the fitter didn't do the alignment which l took up with the management, after a full refund and the alignment done, l vowed never to go back. Took my car there today for a MOT and the staff and management were excellent. Looks like there's new staff, so I'm happy again.

Been down a few times with issues over last couple of months - great service and price - plus open on a Saturday which was a need for us !
