We have used the garage for the last few years for our campervan and car MOTs / repairs. They seem honest and reasonably priced. MOTs on Wednesday are £27.50 but same great service.

This garage doesnt even deserve 1 star.

Misdiagnosis on four seperate occasions.

On taking my car in on 6th august 2018 to have timing chain replaced. That took an extra day because they couldnt get a tensioner. Even though it comes in a kit.

I picked up the car on the 7th drove it out the garage worse than when i took it in. even got told by the machanic they didnt have correct timing tools for the car. So they had it back few days past i get a call its new dump valve and platinum spark plugs. Mmm didnt need that when it first went in and didnt ask me to carry out the work just did it and told me i owed them another £200.07 after paying them £716 for the first job which clearly wasn't done properly. So they tryed masling the problem with this. Again i went to collect the car paid the money drove it off. 17.6 miles later engine light comes on flashing. I took it back to them they told me coil packs gone down put a new one it. Light went off drove off still driving worse jerky no power.

4th time taking it back they have it 7 nights then get a phone call telling me my ecu needs updating. All of this nearly a month no car when all it needed was a timing chain replaced.

So i told them do not touch my car im coming to collect it. I take it home ring the moterombudsman. Guess what they are not part of this organisation.. DIY SHOP... they have been reported and to trading standards and il be taking it further to get every penny back.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COWBOY GARAGE

Clearly not a VW/ Audi specialist.  Went in for cambelt change and then told it won't start due to immobiliser problem, it started fine when i dropped it off.

When i call they say they have put in a new dash/speedo but still doesn't work, didn't authorise this and charge an extra £130 for a speedo which cost about £10 and 5 mins to fit. Then told they need to send ECU and key fob off so it can be programmed, again was fine when i dropped it off.  I have the car back after 11 days,  as new speedo fitted the mileage is now wrong. Went in with 192000 now reads 215000. Was clearly just a fuse blown when half the fuses are now upside down and i find a blown fuse in the footwell!

I also ask them to look at airleak on intercooler hose as i couldn't find myself. They removed one of the joining clips which was on there when i dropped off and replace with cable ties and says it needs 2 new pipes at over £100 plus labour, I've just replaced clip and its now fine .

Even the print on the cambelt appears slightly faded, would not surprise me if a second hand belt was used from a car they stripped around the back!?

AVOID THIS GARAGE

The guys here are great, honest and knowledgeable. I needed my battery on my audi replaced and coded and the receptionist was extremely friendly and looks for the best prices for you! Great experience and hope (not hope) to go back in the future if needed. Thank you!

Off side rear door mechanism regulator stopped working on my audi a4 when they fixed it they dented the door several times and dont wanna own upto it. Have just opened the door after a month or two of it being done and the handle now doesnt want to stay attached properly . The back doors hardly been used since and hardly ever is used. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN , IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THEM TAKE PICTURES OF THE AREA OF WHERE THE WORK IS TO BE DONE BEFORE SENDING THE CAR TO THEM.

Having recently moved to Stonehouse I was nervous to try a new garage. Went into get my drivers side window fixed as it kept coming off tracks. Sorted within a matter of hours on the hottest day of the year, really friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Adam always does a great job with our cars, last MOT was quick nice to only leave it for an hour not all day like some. The reception lady is lovely and very polite and accommodating. See you all again soon
