Toby Carvery Rhoose

Just enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the Toby Carvery Rhoose, what can I say? I’m no stranger when I comes to “Service Excellence”. However, it’s nice to experience it too. Great food and quality service. Well done TEAM Toby! Bravo 👏🏻

Great food, lovely friendly staff, sensibly priced. What more could one want? Always our favourite for a carvery. Compliments to the chef and his team, especially working in the heat we have had of late. Well done to all. Highly reccomend.

Nice place and plenty of food.
The taste wasn't very strong possibly over cooked vegetables and not much sage in stuffing.
The staff seemed pleasant.
This is a open and bright pub as it is an old traditional building but gives it character that you don't get anywhere else.

Food is always amazing and always leaving satisfied.
Sadly each time I’ve been there I’ve had to wait least 5 minutes for the chefs to serve me due to not being there. Lovely waitress/waiters also very friendly and approachable. Very quick with any requests we have asked for.

it was great, not packed to the rafters like it can sometimes get, reasonable queue for the carvery, very pleasant and hospitable serving staff throughout. Good size portions served, all in all a very pleasing experience at a very reasonable cost. Well done to all the team

The food was fine, typical Toby offering. Service was friendly, including the carvery chef who was apologetic as they had run out of Yorkshire puddings and more were being prepared, and the waitress was pleasant. The only issue was that they were busy and lots of used dishes placed on several side units/waiter stations and not taken to the kitchen and overflowing bin near the drinks machine. Didn't give an overall great impression. Maybe short staffed?

This Toby carvery is situated on the outskirts of Barry near the Cardiff Airport. There is a large free car park with a Travelodge. There is a small menu that runs along side the carvery. There were three meats available at the time I visited. Staff were friendly and its reasonably priced.

We booked a table for 3.30 as we had a Christmas event at 5, I was surprised how nice and fresh the food was at an off peak time. Staff were very friendly and accommodating of our wild 2 year old and 6 week old baby with a big buggy. Lovely clean place, would recommend 👍
