Slightly inconsistent when we’ve been there. The quality of the food can sometimes be exceptional or it can be a bit poor. It’s a bargain carvery so expectations aren’t high but sometimes potatoes/mash can taste a bit raw, some typical selections can be missing. Every time the service has been great and the staff are very friendly

Booked to dine in no tables available on arrival so told to wait at the bar. Whilst waiting to the bar I watched other couples arrive after us and get seated almost straight away, when we asked a member of staff they admitted they did not know. A gentleman asked if he could help we explained situation, he went and spoke to the restaurant staff we watched as other people arrived and were seated almost immediately the next time the gent walked passed we informed him there was still a problem and that we were leaving he gave the attitude he couldn't cair. That was the first and last time visiting this establishment. I can only recommend go elsewhere.

Went here on a Sunday and in all fairness they were very busy. Went and got our food and sat down to eat it ,the beef and turkey was ok but the beef was a bit fatty but the Yorkshire pudding was like trying to cut a brick it was that hard. We also ordered 2 bowls of pigs in blankets which never arrived.

Lovely carvery though they have reduced their meat portion sizes and upped their prices. Still good food however. Good drink selection. Big car park. Toilets are clean. 4/5 for me.

Great customer service. Staff were very friendly and helpful considering how busy it was!

There was a very big queue for food though, which is never great when you have hungry kids!

You really can't fault the incredible hard work that is required to feed hundreds (300 a day normally, on a Sunday 1,000) of people a day.
We had a choice of 4 meats with a plethora of vegetables. Needless to say we had our fill and had dessert to boot.
This should have been an uneventful dinner out to celebrate a 12 year olds birthday, and it was until his 4 year old brother started playing with pepper and in turn touched his eye.
One distressed child, the manager, Josh, was quick to act, professional, extremely considerate to a very upset little boy.
Well done to all concerned, our stay was memorable to say the least.

Went for breakfast just before Christmas. Although it seemed quiet in the restaurant, the food was not the best. While we were trying to get our breakfast, a staff member was over the other side of the counter, fulfilling an online order and taking everything, so we were having to wait for it to be filled up.

This place must be under new management?? Everything was so much more organised, tidy and professional compared to our last visit. The shift runner was a familiar face as I believe he used to work in the kitchen and he was fantastic as the host!! The food was well cooked, delicious and fresh and there was no wait for anything!! Thoroughly impressed
