We went here for the breakfast buffet on my daughter's birthday and had to queue for 15 minutes as there were no plates and none of the staff thought to bring more out from under the counter.
People were waiting at the counter for food (I understand one of the ovens wasn't working), there were no Yorkshire puddings, sausages, eggs or beans and the mushrooms and what looked like gravy had been left under the heat lamps for so long that they were inedible (see photos).
When I tried to speak to one of the waitresses, she walked straight past me and said rudely and dismissively "we're working on it".
I'm never one to complain normally but this was appalling so I had to ask for a refund. To be fair, the lady who I spoke to about the refund (who appeared to be the manager) was extremely apologetic and gave us a full refund with no issues.
A very disappointing experience as we've been to several other Toby Carverys in the past and they have always been brilliant. We won't be returning here unfortunately.

It was a carvery and the vegetables were tasty but the serving dishes were almost empty. The turkey was beautiful but the beef very fatty and tough. The staff were very attentive and polite, a nice young man was very helpful. Enjoyed my meal but couldn't eat the beef and didn't even take it home to my cat.

I am a regular customer of yours and I know the staff through visiting so often. On a few occasions the food has been over cooked and dry. Please keep an eye on how the food looks on your quiet days. Please always do the beef dripping potatoes they are divine.

Brilliant experience. Took a group of 15 students with additional needs, the staff were excellent very accommodating. The food was great. An excellent experience from the booking stage to leaving contented and full. Thank you Toby Carvery Cockleshell, Gorseinon!

The outside looks tired with the fence broken down, but inside was clean and tidy. Waited for a little while to be seated and for the waiter to come over. But the staff were really lovely. The food was not very hot at all, by the time you got back to your table it was warm.

We received a nice welcome, all the staff were wonderful - well presented, polite, helpful and patient. The carvery lunch was perfect and we were delighted with the experience. We were disappointed that there was no cranberry sauce but a minor hitch.

The staff are exceptional. They are courteous, professional and friendly. The food looked unappetising. There was food all over the buffet area. The food looked dry and unappealing. I couldn’t get the macaroni cheese to come off the spoon. Even the cauliflower cheese was tasteless. I ate the meat and a few roasted potatoes. This really isn’t a good enough standard.

Was having a lovely meal until I found hard black chunks in my Yorkshire pudding that was baked into the batter. Nearly broke my tooth with the bit that ended up in my mouth! When we mentioned it to the waiter he tried to palm us off saying due to the nature of the way the food is served cross contamination is inevitable, even though they were clearly in the batter and had been cooked within the batter, meaning they couldn't possibly have been caused by cross contamination on the serving deck
