Nice place. Bigger than I thought. Can park on the main road or the little road that goes up the side. No amenities but pubs, shop and chip shop in village. Definitely not good for wheelchairs. Some nice views and boards that tell you the history of the site. Can be part of a longer walk that takes you along the canal. Xx

Brinklow castle obviously has a lot of history and is very old. While there is not a lot to see, it is great to walk around. There is a really steep hill which is a load of fun to run up and down. Probably pretty scary to go down the hill on a sled if it has been snowing but each to their own. Pretty village as well.

We loved the peace here. No actual Castle. That is long gone. Just the sire where the Castle was. Lovely church right next to the site. Kids lived it. Bit of a different way to spend a Saturday evening. Go and get some chips from Brinklow fish and chip shop down the road - they are absolutely lovely!

Basically it is just a mound of earth. Good view from the top though

Nice walk but no castle here, just a mountain

Used to go all the time as a kid, but since being an adult I'm too scared to attempt climbing it! My 6 year old was at the top in just over 1 minute!

Excellent historic site. Really powerful vibe, despite the nearby roads and lights.
