Not a nice place at all as told wanted to check head office because some of the old games I wanted to buy were same. Requested I.D too...for reasons known to them as it was clearly not an age issue. Had to leave as got tired of waiting for 'email' to be replied to from head office on a weekend.

First time using CEX and I'm not disappointed. Sadly I can't remember the chaps name but I'll gladly go there again to sell any unwanted electronics or games based on the service he gave. The prices are obviously lower than what you can get from eBay or the sorts but it's the ease and guarantee of getting your money from a business like CEX and the money was deposited on the day he said I'd get it. Thank you for a brilliant first impression.

Schlepped a box of DVDs and games all the way here to be told they didn’t have time to take them. Should warn on the site if that’s likely to happen. Staff was nice though.

They don't even deserve 1 star! Absolutely horrible customer service, these guys are absolutely useless! I went to CeX Barnet to get a quote for my Xbox360, the guys at the counter was rude and discorteus, and refused to buy it from me, stating a minor cosmetic scratch as a reason! I am not at all upset about it, however he practically threw it in my face and was absolutely horrible, he then said that he can only pay be £2 for my other device, what a rip off!

The customer service in the place is horrible, just avoid them!

I sold an iPhone 7 Plus, and was instructed that funds would be transferred that same day, if not the following morning. The money was not in my account the next day, so I went to the store and asked for my phone back. They could not do that as it was in the system and I had to wait, and told to email the support team. On doing that nobody answered and they would in 72 hours due to the COVID-19, I’m sure the law states you have a 24 hour easing off period.

Part was wrongly listed & demanded physical ID despite having everything else including a picture of driving licence. Idiotic.

after spending £2100 on a MacBook Pro new 16inch model. had nothing but issues after only 3 weeks. took it in they did very basic hardware etc checks. and said its 100% good. well apple have checked and its a memory issue and will cost unto £750 to fix. which oi will have to pay then bill cex. be warned. high end products will be warranty checked with very low end tech.i have been dealing with CEX a long time and never had any issues. 10k spent this year alone. won't be using them ever again.
