Visited today to see a c3. Listed on their own website as new and on auto trader as new. Happy with test drive and car. The actual car being purchased was in the inside showroom. Before visiting I had called twice regarding this vehicle. When the paperwork was issued (cash purchase) it listed the car as used. The car had been preregisterd, therefore rendering the car second hand, adding an owner to log book and reducing manufacturers warranty. The salesman didn't not divulge this information , had we not spotted it on the paperwork he wouldn't have. The general manager intervened at this point and didn't see why we had an issue with it. The car was priced the same as ordering a brand new one. He said yes but you'll have to wait 4 months. So that's what we decided to do, wait. Once the dealerships integrity had been brought into question it was an easy decision. Had they been open about this from the first call we would have had time to make an informed decision before driving 40mins each way for nothing. Lost a good customer who may have come back many times.

We were well looked after by Callum at Citroen after visiting to test drive a specific vehicle. His friendly approach put us at ease and he happily took away any queries which got answered quickly. We'd definitely recommend to friends.
