Great customer service! I was kept well informed on the progress of my car (DS7) during its stay for suspension repair. They dealt with DS Customer services and fought my case to get the car turned around and back on the road.

I own a 2018 Citroen Relay and the engine needed replacing at only75,000 miles. I purchased a genuine Citroen reconditioned engine that was installed and ran for twenty seconds before it abruptly stopped. For Citroen to inspect and replace this under warranty I have waited nearly a month for it to be accepted at Tates Crawley. It was recovered five days ago and I have now been told by customer services that it will not be looked at until the end of the week at the earliest and then who knows how much longer it will take to replace this faulty engine. I run a small business and have had to hire a vehicle to replace this one of which has been very costly. There seems to be a huge lack of urgency and customer service here. I suggest anyone even considering to purchase a commercial Citroen to think again.

Went in today as had a problem with opening the bonnet of our Suzuki Swift. Let me tell you, absolutely fantastic service received today by a very friendly Gentleman at the dealership, think he said he was the accountant. Without hesitation, came out and helped us, trying to open the bonnet. He then proceeded to go and get a mechanic to try and open it for us. Well, safe to say they got it open for us. Absolutely chuffed. Just went in without an appointment and the service was second to none. Thank you so so much guys at Tates Gatwick. Absolutely recommended this dealership.

Absolutely awful service overall. Poor customer service, failure of callbacks, accused of lying and made to feel other customers are more important. They also do not carry out repairs that they say they will and just try to fob you off.

Husbands electic van has been here multiple times to be fixed and still fighting to get this repaired. Most recent visit the van had been with them for almost 4 weeks and It was agreed that a repair would be carried out and costs covered exgraita by Citroën due to a certain warranty that falls within electrical vehicles. Turns out as they were not getting money from a "paying" customer they refused to fix what they stated would be fixed and just done a reset instead (funny when I bet it would have gone ahead if husband had passed over the 4.5k himself. Even the resets had been done previously and not worked) We were told that we had lied about this repair being agreed by a certain member of staff. She stated that every call was "listened" to apprently and we was not told any any point that costs had been agreed and that job needed to be done. This is definitely not the case and during the call we were made to feel like we had lied about the whole situation.. Funny how we were told the main office for this is based in Hungry that would agree such sign offs. So glad we were able to "make up" such a believing story, I forgot that apprently it's common knowledge that the department that deals with these enquiries are based in Hungry!

We Raised issues multiple timee and just got ignored. Had no choice but to to remove van as I quote "they have other customers that need to have their cars repaired". Shame we were not considered one of those customers! I guess that's where the difference is when you have you car repaired exgraita rather than throwing money at them. Low and behold after many weeks of asking for the van to repaired as agreed we were told that it needed to be collected and just after 2 days, yes 2 days after having collected the van broke down with exactly the same issue it went in for last time!

Must say Couple of staff members service has been brilliant cannot fault them and have tried to go above and beyond, just shame their efforts were ignored and the poor service continued regardless of their efforts. I won't mention names regarding one member of staff that so happens to be a manager but in a nut shell she requires retraining on how to deal with customers in a professional, polite way rather than getting frustrated with them and making the customer feel worthless to the point customers cannot come into the building our of fear of seeing them as they have created such stress and anxiety over the way they had handled the situation.

If you can find another dealer to take your car/van to then do so avoid Tates in Crawley at all costs. If you need a sale or just a general reception question then I can imagine the service would be fab

I bought a great second hand car from this garage and the customer care was excellent. Jarred, who facilitated the purchase was brilliant, very amiable and easygoing. There was no hard selling of extras as a I had expected, just a helpful and speedy transaction. Highly recommended staff and services☺️

I have just purchased a new DS4 (my fifth DS) from Tates. The service here is always excellent from sales to servicing and aftercare. This was the third car I have purchased from Jarred and chose to buy again as he always goes the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy before, during and after purchase. He is easygoing & affable with a tremendous knowledge of the DS brand and superb salesmanship skills!

James in the sales team is an extremely attentive guy, and captured my needs in the perfect car choice. This is my 3rd car from Tates, and they are honestly the best dealership I have dealt with. They are so on the ball. I have timely reminders for servicing, and if there is a recall for any reason they are straight on it. You get the impression they really care about their customers and the cars. On top of that, i feel everything is fairly priced and while prices have generally crept up over the years, it is only in line with everything else. If you are in the market for a car, give James a bell. He'll hook you up :-)

Just bought a beautiful new (to me anyway!) and shiny DS3 Crossback from Tates and from start to finish dealt with James Stanton, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. James was really easy to deal with, he knew what he was talking about and very personable, he could not do enough to accommodate us and our needs.
Tates took my car in part exchange and the whole process was very straightforward, and super quick from start to finish. I am very satisfied with my whole Tates experience, I will definitely be going back and hope to see James again! I cannot recommend Tates highly enough, go and see them for your future car needs, and spare a moment to look at their DS range, super sleek and sexy cars!!!
