Gossips Coffee House

All good, nothing to light up the world, a little canteen like with the food cellophane wrapped at the counter and metal teapots. Individually wrapped sugar portions show it’s due some contemporary thinking. The two girls who served us were great, the guy was a little sullen but maybe it’d been a long day. Great homemade scone with proper cream and generous on the jam and an excellent location - a lot of competition around there!

Fantastic! Full english with toast and tea for £7.50?? Cant go wrong. Lovely staff, very efficient, and served quickly. Best breakfast I've had. Would definitely go here again - highly recommend

Beautiful place. Staff were lovely. Amazing gluten and dairy free choices and food was really nice. Place was very clean too

We had a late Saturday lunch and enjoyed a ploughman's, a home made vegetable lasagne and some wonderful scones, jam and cream with pots of tea. The food was excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly and we sat in the rear courtyard which was nice too. I often try new places based on reviews, so I was glad we found Gossips after having popped our head in the pub (the Rodney) just down the High Street and finding that the review claiming a wide and varied menu there was woefully incorrect. We look forward to visiting g Gossips again.

The food and drink was great and the price was average. However we were told to take a seat and someone would come to us. We seated outside and numerous waitresses came and went past us multiple times but after 10 minutes i gave up and went to the front desk to remind them we were there.

Lovley little cafe with very reasonable priced food and drink. Freindly staff with a nice selection of cakes. Upon leaving the premises a member of staff came to find us to let us know we had left our bank card behind 🙈 would return. Maybe for a afternoon tea 😋

Great,hidden little gem in the lovely market town of Southwell . Food cooked to perfection and great service. Have returned twice since our first visit .

Gossips is one of the nicest coffee houses I have visited. The staff are a delight and the service is first class. The business is situated right in the heart of Southwell, with convenient parking nearby (2 hours free).
