Cobham Health Centre

Due to ongoing health issues I've had reason to visit the practice several times since moving to Cobham and can't fault any part of it. The reception staff are always helpful, pointing me in the right direction if they can't help me personally, and their telephone manner is always friendly. I've had appointments with four of the doctors and two of the nurses and they're all friendly, professional and very helpful - putting me at ease when I've needed it. I've never felt rushed in a consultation, even when overrunning on the ten-minute appointment length. A great surgery.

We think we are lucky to be registered with this surgery. They are very kind and helpful over the smallest problem even in these difficult times. Dr. Karim is an excellent GP. My husband is nearly 90 and has lots of health issues ongoing and this surgery has been wonderful in helping him. the diabetic nurse "Kathy" has ben exceptionally caring and helpful.

Absolutely ridiculous

I have just gone in person to make an appointment with my GP because mental health wise I have been severly struggling recently and I'm told I must do it online between 8 and 8.30 in the morning, I have never known any health centre to operate such a ridiculous policy. COVID is no longer a valid excuse to push people to do everything online particularly somewhere as vital and important as a health centre.

I walked away feeling irrelevant and rejected, I have relied on this health centre for years and to be turned away from even making a simple appointment when I desperately need a reassurance that I can begin to address my problems sometime soon is very demoralising and only adds to my mental health burdens

One of the receptionists has unique ability to be rude, unhelpful and dismissive. Shocking. Its a simple job to give people that need the appointment the APPOINTMENT!

This surgery is Shocking the people that own it need to review all the Shocking staff. I'd rather sit in the dentist and talk with them and that's saying something.

We as a family have had nothing but excellent experiences at Cobham Health Centre. The online booking works well and a couple of times the receptionists have been extremely helpful when I could not get an online appointment. Throughout Covid doctors and nurses were supportive either by phone or in person and this is only getting better. We are very lucky to have such an efficient and caring local practice.

My wife and I have experienced this on multiple occasions and are both left feeling baffled and frustrated when we are simply asking for assistance in getting a repeat prescription for my wife who if very ill.

Whoever owns the surgery should investigate their patient service and how inbound calls are handled

I have nothing but good to say, from helping me through cancer, and caring for my wobbles since, to the care they are giving my mum now, I could not have hoped for better GP's. Dr Rose who looks after me is just fantastic to Dr Karim who looks after mum and who has to be one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. And all the other doctors we have met who are there when our doctors are not, all so helpful we have never felt palmed off.

I was happy with the surgery but they insisted we moved surgery when we moved house ' as we wouldn't be able to do home visits'. Well in 15 years, we had never had one home visit from any of the doctors even when I had pneumonia so I can't see why it could have been an issue. My daughter has a heart condition and I really wanted to stay at this surgery but they wouldn't have it even though we only moved less than 15 mns away. Very disappointing to say the least bearing in mind we'd been under their care for 15 years.
