Same Day Health Centre

This review relates solely to the call taking aspect of the centre, as I feel the walk-in service is amazing. I had an 11am X-ray appointment but because of traffic, was running 10 mins late. I made a courtesy call in the hope of the X-ray staff being notified so I wouldn’t lose my appointment. Unfortunately I was on hold for 18mins, by which time I’d already arrived at the centre. I fully appreciate how busy the medical service is at this difficult time however, I would like to think that my call should’ve been answered in that time. Reported purely for feedback and nothing more.

Thank you for seeing my mum today. After the way our own GP surgery lectured her, via a phone consultation, on the use of antibiotics mum was hesitant to ask for help again. The nurse listened to her and was kind towards her. Thank you

I have been to the health centre 3 times in the last week with my husband who sustained a leg injury and would like to praise the nursing and reception staff for their courtesy, compassion and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble and they spoke to my husband in a clear and professional way. Thank you so much Fleetwood Walk in Centre Urgent Care Team.

I called here with a family friend, the Dr was very good and did the tests that were needed, happy customer

Cannot fault the professional way we have been looked after today.
After trying unsuccessfully to get into own GP we were signposted to Fleetwood for wound care, the nurses were excellent & after explaining to them about another issue they directed us to downstairs,we got an X-ray and & within 2hours . Everything we wanted to know was dealt with Excellent care

Have had a mild pain in my side for 5 Days so thought it wise to get it checked (I am 81).Rang the contact number and was asked perhaps as many as 12 questions then asked it I could go for an appointment Today-said Yes-Call handler said"What time can You get to Fleetwood Centre Today?" (I live in Cleveleys)I said anytime from half an Hour-Sure enough gave Me an appointment in half an Hour.Only waited 10 mins,in reception then saw the Nurse who gave me several tests-gave Me the results and advice on next move.Everything polite and efficient(and spotlessly clean)

Went in late last night nurse saw me and diagnosed me with a chest infection. Didn't have to wait long either to be seen.

Tried ringing for appointment 3 days in a row first time 50 minutes ,second time 36 minutes ,3 time 55 minutes .very poor telephone service .
