Mydentist, Canon Street, Taunton

Receptionist was rude,dismissive and wouldn't let me finish my sentence last time I visited. I had issues from before and enquired but no adequate answer was provided. Almost every time when I had an appointment, I ended up waiting a long time before I went in. Dentist looked stressed out and always in a hurry ,feel bad for them . Appointments are so far apart that I ended up finishing my teeth abroad as it was faster,cheaper and even better materials used for less money.
I know that some might say that if it's cheaper it doesn't necessarily be better but for the cheapest crown paid here and looks awful abroad I had it reconstructed that looks like my own.

Called on Monday needing an emergency appointment. Reception team were so helpful. I was lucky that one became available later in the day. Had the consultation with Cristian and booked back in for an extraction 4 days later. I’m a really nervous patient, but all I spoke to put me at ease. Thank you all so much. Looking forward to recovery now :)

My dentist in Weston was My Dentist, when I returned to Taunton to live and went to register with My Dentist, (I had been registered with Canon Street dentist before) they said they couldn't take me as an NHS patient despite previously being registered with them before. Said I would have to go to my dentist in Weston, which is difficult for me to get to now. Not happy!

10/10 from the moment I walked in. I was seen as an emergency patient and was met by a very friendly and professional receptionist. My appointment with Riccardo went really well due to his cheerful and calming manner. His assistant was lovely too. I would be so happy to be a permanent patient here. Extremely happy with the service and treatment. Thanks to all the team at Canon Street Dentists!

18months, all appointments cancelled by dentist. Never seen. 6months chemotherapy affecting teeth. No help. Tonight, home to find letter stating a named dentist is leaving but I can go private???

I have pretty bad gingivitis, I begun treatment before Covid, but my previous dentist cancelled and left before 1st lockdown.
I then got a call in May 2022 booking me in, I came back the day after my check to treat tartar buildup to help treat my gingivitis, I then came back for my 6 month check, to find out my treatment is improving my gum health drastically, so I am very happy and grateful.

I rang for an emergency app, but was told by the very helpful receptionist Cathrine they couldn’t help but gave me the NHS Help number. 5 mins later Catherine rang back and said they had a cancellation and did I want to take it as she knew I was in pain. I feel that without Catherine’s thoughtfulness and help the outcome would of been very different. I have now had my teeth sorted by Ricciardo and was very impressed with the whole process. Thank you again to Ricciardo but a BIG Thank you to Catherine.
