Fantastic service on thursday. Michael in the bed/mattress dept was very knowledgeable, good advice given. Mattress purchased for delivery next week. When I explained I had to have a back procedure next week, he arranged for it to be delivered that day.
Imagine my surprise when a gentleman appeared in his own car with the mattress in the back.
I was so very grateful.

We had an appointment at the nursery department in Ipswich today with Bryan.
He is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on all the products. The experience was really enjoyable and memorable I honestly couldn’t of been happier. Bryan is a credit to JL and I would recommend him to everyone. I actually had been told about him from one of my close friends, which made me book the appointment in the first place it was just lucky I got him aswell.
Thank you Bryan for all your help and patience I know we had a lot of questions.

Very dissapointing, didn't receive a receipt for the laptop i ordered in store today, so tried to call the branch from home just to be sure they had my money. Customer service person "Uthman"refused to put me through to Ipswich branch and would do nothing to help me apart from saying someone would call me in a few days. Just kept repeating himself, he did eventually find my order with wrong email on it. But again refused to send me any form of receipt. He would not let me speak to his Manager "Shannon" either. This took 35mins.
Had to drive 10 miles back to branch to collect hard copy of receipt
John Lewis shame on you, branch were helpful but customer service team on phone totally and utterly dont give a monkeys.

AVOID JOHN LEWIS TO MAKE LARGE PURCHASES!!
Purchased a SAMSUNG TV 2+ years ago and it has been virtually unusable. Been repaired two times in situ but continues to fail. Eventually sent to workshop for repair. Was told still nothing wrong with it and so we have a 2.5 year old tv with a five year guarantee which cannot be used. On top of this the company they selected for the repair have been dis-interested and completely unhelpful. Having spent thousands of pounds with John Lewis each year, I would suggest AVOIDING BUYING WHITE GOODS AND ELECTRICALS FROM THEM!! VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Super helpful staff, well organized shop. Sale prices on bed linen aren't entirely obvious, had a nasty surprise at the till.

Was disappointed with the food we ordered; I ordered the southern fried chicken burger with onion rings - no where did it state that in the bun along with the chicken would be mayonnaise and BBQ sauce, I dislike both which spoilt my burger (and tomato & lettuce, but these are easily removed). What if someone has an allergy?
My husband's macaroni cheese with crouton crumble consisted of 6 croutons. Left us wondering if meal was good value.

We pop in here every Christmas to look at and buy Christmas presents. They have a very large selection of electronics and home goods with Waitrose right next door.

The café is OK with coffees and cake after a hard morning shopping.

TBH the best thing I've found here was a wardrobe that fit exactly in a nook in our smallest bedroom. We were searching for one for about 3 years before finally found something that fit.. and it fits perfectly.

John Lewis is a nice place that we will go back too every now and then...

I'm given this rating to Debbie the relief manager who dealt with our Dyson issue. She was sympathetic and apologised for the terrible customer care I had received.
