Boots Opticians

Having seen my GP, I needed an urgent appointment with an optician offering a Minor Eye Conditions service. I rang a number of opticians on the list given to me by my GP but Boots were the only one who understood what I was trying to book. I was given a same day appointment. I could not believe how thorough the optician was, I was in with him for well over half an hour. He diagnosed a condition, told me all about it and how to improve my symptoms. His manner was outstanding and no cost. Fantastic.

I've used before and service was good. Had online booking appointment. On arrival told it was cancelled due to covid and they had apparently tried to call me the previous day. They supposedly used a number they had on file rather than the one I made the appointment with and no message left on either phone or email when I checked. Very annoyed as got train from Lowestoft to Norwich especially to use this branch as boots Lowestoft have poor reviews. Will not be using again.

Brilliant and personal service, Sarah who completed my initial consultation was amazing whilst Richard who handled the hand over and after care of my glasses was second to none. I felt well looked after by Richard specifically and I have become a life time customer based on its staffs merits, Thank you.

Made an appointment on the 4th for the 14th. Turned up for my appointment, and they're shut. Thanks, boots, you incompetent halfwits and good luck for the future...

Took our 6 year old for some new glasses due to the old pair from elsewhere did not fit well.
The gentleman who helped us was Richard. He was absolutely amazing, spoke to and worked with my 6 year perfectly. My son was so happy with the reults and responded really well to Richard.

Quite possibly the worst opticians in Norwich. l had an eye test and when l tried to ring for an appointment to choose some glasses it is absolutely impossible to get through to anyone even after pressing every option. A absolute shambles and a complete waste of time. Its no wonder so many people go to speck savers. Never again Boots.Your future looks grim.

Covid safe, friendly staff for initial greeting , but unbelievable and unacceptable long wait ! With no explanation! It was my 89 year old mother s appointment. So she needed me to take her. I was told she would be 40-45 minutes instead of which she was 1 and a half hours! Most of that waiting to be seen after the initial checks . She was told it could be 15 minutes that’s all! But was an extra 45 minutes . Meanwhile I am wandering around in Boots for the last 45 minutes after she should have been finished - total waste of time, and of course it cost us an extra hour on the car park . Her appointment ran into her hearing appointment (should have been an hour in between) so she was in there for almost 3 hours! Why give appointment times and not stick to them?

Based on the service and care that I received instore it should be 5 stars. But as I am currently trying to cancel an appointment that I no longer need and I am unable to get through to anyone on the phone, I will just have to not turn up on the day and the appointment that someone else could have had instead will be ridiculously wasted.
