Absolutely Poor service. Do not respond to emails half the time even when replying to the doctors email. Responses look like secretary typed up with spelling errors. Do not follow up with patients to give results of tests. Do not have appointments available online. Do not provide online access. Phone in only at 8 and 12 to get an appointment on the day. No appointments tough luck will have to phone next day. Do not let you book appointments week or month in advance. Very aggressive and rude tone on phone from doctor Dr Naushaba Nadeem GMC 6025640. Secretaries are the same no manners or impolite tone on the phone. Other staff are also impolite on the phone and in person, a few are OK and they know who they are common courtesy doesn't go amiss. Just there to clock in and clock out. Absolute shambles since got passed on from Dr. Singh who was a good doctor with a polite surgery. No professional qualified staff and doctors are also it and miss. Alison the Nurse is very good. Apart from that its your choice if you choose Riverside family practice in Saint Peters building. I would stay well clear. Better off going to a more polite, professional clean and hygienic Practice. All in my opinion so do your own research. Oh forgot to mentioned the receptionists are all female and clearly not trained and cannot help with queries most of the time. Famous response "Call back later" There also chatting or eating when you actually go in and see while waiting for the doctor. 5 receptionists where in reality only 2 trained are required. Complete shamble. No wonder most of Dr. Singh's loyal patients have moved on to other surgeries. This practice should be reviewed by the governing body GMC. All the best in making your decision. I've tried my best to be as clear as possible. Take care.

There is no option to give them -100 for their worst service. My little kids are complaining of tummy pain for months and we keep asking for appointment but receptionist is not giving appointment as she don’t think it is important. Finally she gave a routine telephone appointment after 3 weeks for 4pm but GP called at 11am when kids were at school. Despite accepting their fault they saying they can’t do anything. Really arrogant, misbehaving, unprofessional staff. Failed to provide with complaints procedure despite several requests.

I've been at this surgery for 18 years and the change in customer service, staff and maintenance has slipped overtime. I am understanding that government funding is required to keep these places up and running, plus due to the pandemic and other economic crises have effected the performance of this surgery. I still have to say that it's really bad right now. I can remember when the former Doctors were here (I won't mention names due to confidentiality) the doctors before 2013 were really good in my opinion. As for the customer service at the desk. As much the experience of being a patient too.

Now it's more different but not in a good way. The place is still clean which is really important especially after coming out of a pandemic. Appointments only last about 5 minutes, max 7 and can only talk about the main issue such as if you have a bad back they will only treat the first thing that comes out of your mouth as the most important issue anything after that it's classed as minor issues. Impossible to get an appointment, have to wait on month's end to get one, at this point you just don't bother going in because you'll have to wait for a long time, in that time your condition might get worse or even get better if you look after yourself. But still I recommend seeing your GP.

Sometimes, the GP practioners can start becoming condescending. I experienced that with a specific Dr with my mum when I took her in to checked out, sometimes the most surprising things come out of their mouths that just shocks you. I have had foul experiences and encounters with one receptionist in the past other than that, most of them are okay.

That's me done with my two cents on this matter, if you do want join this surgery or any other surgery out there please do your research and see patient reviews not all of them are false many are true.

Take care of yourselves 👍

After previously rating this gp 5 stars I have to say it has declined rapidly, rude staff, no concern for patients welfare, tell blatant lies and cover each others back. Practice managers way of dealing with complaints is to threaten to have you removed from the surgery. I would have given 0 stars but not possible when reviewing on Google. I will now be taking my complaint further

They reception staff don’t even deserve a star for customer service absolutely disrespectful and awful patient service towards patients numerous times especially Julia needs a sack. Firstly appalling attitude and tone of voice secondly you would be six feet under by the time the phone is answered if you ever move to Burnley or are looking for a surgery this ain’t the place. You will be regretting it forever

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS
The receptionists are rude and always in a foul mood
Deny saying things minutes after they say it and just overall foul

The doctors are decent that's if you can get an appointment

Waited 4 weeks on an appointment just for them to ring on the wrong number and refuse to give me an appointment for another 4 weeks
And told me just to ring 111 if it was that important

The doctors are ace, but reception really lets this practice down. They are ignorant, rude, do not listen, and actively go against the advice of 111.

One receptionist refused a 111 referral to my doctor, and tried to fob me off with urgent care. Apparently she knew my pain and suffering more than me. She thinks she has the authority to speak to my doctor on my behalf against my will, without my permission!

I have complained, and asked for their staff to be retrained. Looking at the state of the Google reviews, I'm not too confident in any change.
