I have never experienced poorer customer service in my whole life and its even worse coming from a doctors. They all basically laughed at me when i went to see them about an ingrowing nail, they told me to just put a plaster on it and then the next appointment Dr Solway wrote some cream on a scrap of paper (not a perscription) and after me basically begging said they would make me a referral. He made me feel small and insignificant and did nothing to help me with my problem. When he finished speaking he just turned to his computer and dismissed me in such a rude way i just wanted to run. I never got a confirmation for it and when i called up the older receptionist was rude and just brushed me off saying i needed to call the hospital. I did have a smear done here and the nurse was wonderful. However other than that I would not feel comfortable visiting this doctors again.

Dr Solway and dr Mallick have no compasion, dont listen when you tell them about your symptoms and make you feel like you imagine it all and you kinda bother them with your "non sense". Thats why I changed my GP and now I feel listened and cared. The nurses were nice to me, thats why the practice gets 2 stars, otherwise would be zero.

I have never experienced such a rude and patronising doctors surgery. The reception team are absolutely lovely, however the doctor I spoke to was the most obnoxious doctor I’ve ever spoken to. He didn’t appear to believe my level of distress and was unhelpful and unsympathetic. For those with mental health issues, to be treated this way only reaffirms our negative feelings that there is something “wrong with us” or that we are not worth listening too. It also adds stress to people trying to cope in a very difficult world at the moment. A little bit of kindness would have gone a long way, instead I was treated like a nuisance. I became very distressed during the call because I wasn’t being listened to. I will be making an official complaint about this doctor and will look to move practices if I can. If not, I will refuse to speak to him again. Would advise anyone to try and use a different practice if possible. Shame as the reception team were very kind and helpful

I would rate this practice highly. Reception staff are friendly and patient and an effort is made to have you seen as soon as possible. Medical staff are professional and create a safe environment with as much information to the patient as possible. Absolutely no complaints, I have always been seen / contacted within day and their telephone screening service enables this - to ensure people who need treatment or appointments are prioritised.

Don't even think of registering at this surgery. It's the worst surgery in Ipswich or even Suffolk. The staff are rude and unhelpful. The practice manager is incompetent and takes no responsibility for the dreadful staff she is supposed to be managing. If you make a complaint she just ignores it and hope you'll go away so she doesn't actually have to deal with it. My 93 year old Mother dreaded phoning the surgery, knowing that she would get a rude and unhelpful receptionist that has no empathy for the patients, who actually pay their salaries!! I can't even give this surgery one star as even that would be one too many. Sadly unless you click on a star you cannot send your post......

I am with them for more than decade. I just don’t want to call them no more. I have few things I want to be checked for, but it when I spoke with dr I felt as if I was wrong to call. I am tired, my right lymph are swollen and I have difficulty to swallow. I also have bump behind my eye for the last 4 years (dr said is nothing). It is just doesn’t feel I can trust them or talk to them. I would happily go to do private full check but it cost around 900£. I don’t know… We all people, but sometimes it feels like there is no checks done apart listening to me. I mean prevention is the best thing in order to save hospitals but with this surgery it doesn’t feel like I can trust them as professionals. I just want to check if everything ok with me

Thank you so much for potentially saving my daughters life . If it wasn’t for the doctor who wasn’t happy with her blood test and kept sending to the hospital. Even when the A&E doctor told her ,the only problem she has is that she is pregnant . Then sent her home . My daughter then call her doctor again the following morning . Who was not happy with this or her blood test results they then phoned the hospital and got her admitted. If it wasn’t for the doctors persistence and getting her onto Brantham Ward ,we would never of known that she had a blood clot on her lung. Thank you
I would recommend this doctor surgery.
