KFC Folkestone - Sandgate Road

Was not bad yesterday. However only 4 stars as the table had not been cleaned from the previous customers. Food was ok except the chips were rather over cooked.
My Zinger Tower Burger was lovely as always.

This place is always busy........ I've never had any food issues at all.

The only thing that does let it down, funnily enough are the customers that can't be bothered to put their rubbish away!

Which when they are busy, the staff can't get out to sort it out!

It has gone down hill a lot since COVID, I used to like going in there, buy now since you have to pay on the machines and choose what you want on screens there seems to be lot's of mistakes. As I ordered and paid for one piece of chicken at £1.99 and one chicken strip at £1.79 to take away, as well as chips and salad and it came to £7.98. When I got home the chicken strip was missing so I have missed out on this and they have the money for nothing as I didn't check the order before I left. Also the chicken is so dry now and the chips are dry as they have the skins on now, I used to like the thin french fries, they used to use. Also I used to get the snack boxes but they don't do they now, only popcorn chicken ones. They used to be only £1.99 and you used to get plenty of chips and it would only cost me £3.98 instead of £7.98. I know everything has gone up, but I don't think Burger King is as expensive as this.

I only popped in for. Pepsi. Drink.
Am diabetic. So not able to have Tasted, any Foods as i don't eat Breaded chicken ,That's fried.... sorry

Restaurant has had a refurb which is nice. Food counter is good but boy the Restaurant is gross. It's an infection control hazard. Went in evening and staff were all working behind counter. Not that busy. All normal food standards and seems clean, but no one in the restaurant staff wise. Bins were overflowing, uncleared tables, food on the floor, sticky and dirty tables, some areas cordoned off. Not inviting and just off putting when you just want a clean eating space. Poor show KFC sorry 😞 McDonald's always have staff in the eating area cleaning up. KFC been like this last few times I've visited. Why isn't anyone wiping down touch screens with winter bugs coming and post covid? I don't get it?!

Probably because of the late hr we visited the chicken looked like it had been cooked in well used oil and been in the warmer awhile but in their defence it still was a tasty treat and exactly as ordered

Firstly I love KFC but this particular branch, for me, did not live up to standards. Nice and clean etc etc but the food was bland, no flavour to the coating on the chicken. Won't rush to visit this branch again if at all.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED the chicken was overcooked, I asked for no bbq sauce and wrote it in capital letters but the wrap was covered so much so that I think it was done on purpose, the drinks were warm and I ordered 4 cookies one was missing and the receipt said MISSING 1 COOKIE XTRA CHIPS INSTEAD SORRY and to top it all off the cookies looked like they had a bit taken from them and they were hard as rocks so must have been sitting a while so overall the worse food I've ever had and the worse £45 I've ever spent. They even had a cheek to charge me £1.97 service charge what a joke will not be returning
