Woodrow Chippy

The fish was big enough for two and tasted amazing, nicely cooked. The chips were the best i had for a long time. I will be calling in regularly from now on. By the way, thanks for a nice service.

Great service, fish was massive, a little wait but was well worth it, portions were generous and value for money.

It's really nice. But the oil which is used to fry the potatoes & fish wasn't great !!! 😊

Visited here last week when I had there chicken pie and chips, v good....visited Woodrow Chippy again tonight as parked in the area and had there 3 piece southern fried chicken meal, absolutely fabulous, every thing was how it should be: great service(with a smile), fantastic chicken, brilliant chips, nice salad. As for the price spot on....KFC eat your heart out this is how it should be done....spot on thankyou.

Bought a special of kebab meat and chips. Fabulous portion size but the meat was Stone cold and had obviously been cut some time before. I ended up throwing it away. Very disappointed

Went to Woodrow chippy for the first time today, as my local Church hill chippy was closed until new year.

The chips were really nice, and barely any grease on them at all, and the cod was cooked nicely too, all the way through to the middle, generous portion sizes of the chips, and the cod (we had a large) was absolutely massive, I would say it was about the size of my feet (size 11/12)!

We all enjoyed it, and the staff were really pleasant and smiley too.

Would highly recommend
