This is a great place to go on a spa day so you use the relaxation room to lay on the hot beds to relax on. You can have a mini or a full massage with a facial and a head massage too. You can have lunch here while you can go in the steam room and in the sauna. They have a massive swimming pool and you can go in the hot tub that has bubbles in. You can use the swimsuit dryer to dry your costumes with and a nail parlour too.

I really do not understand how this place has any customers left. It's truly awful, and the fact they don't even reply to complaints says it all really. I had a 3 month membership here paying £65 a month. The facilities here are a health hazard; they are disgusting and are not cleaned throughout the day, and as for the smell in the changing rooms, it's enough to put you off your dinner. The gym is tiny and is always overcrowded, so you can't use equipment and the same with the spa where you would expect to relax but no, there are queues to use the sauna and steam room on a regular basis.

In other words, stay away, seriously do not waste your money in this nearly derelict gym, which clearly has had no investment in a long time.

My partner and I had treatments with Nardine and Jade, they were excellent and I would give the treatment from them 5 stars. The facilities of the health club however need a little love and care, mainly the jacuzzi area which has seen better days. Would still come back for treatments alone

Gym is okay although turning the machines off etc now to save energy which is fine but when you’re paying 65 a month especially during the busier times. The spa needs a lot of work, the jacuzzi was off for 2/3 weeks leaving only one, during summer there was a wasp problem, the chairs are ratty and broken the decking is coming up and is hazardous overall the outside needs a lot more work. Inside is okay but doesn’t seem the cleanest. We had a 3 month contract but rolled it over a few months when we decided to write in and cancel which they then needed another months notice so really the 3 month contract is pointless and for what possible reason could you need notice of a month when you’re turning off machines and your facilities are below par? I wouldn’t book a bannatynes for a spa facility experience maybe Reynolds which is 10/15 minutes away. Overall the staff are friendly and really nice so that’s why they get a star :)

My partner paid for a full day spa access + treatment for the both of us.
I would say that the experience was worth a 3 stars, but I'm taking 1 star away because it was quite dirty, and 1 more because of forceful sale.
At the start of the treatment, I was asked if I wanted an extra, and from the list, the "feet and hand treatment" really tempted me. I asked how much it was and was told "the feet and hand treatment is £8 for both". Which is the opposite of £8 for each. Guess how much I was charged? £16
The front of house assistant went upstairs to the spa to know what to do when I protested, because he was clueless. He told me that "I did have both so needed to pay". I did do it because I didn't want to make a scene, but I really feel cheated here. The treatment were four poor gloves full of some kind of cream put on each foot/hand, but not even a short massage, which is what I expected.
I would urge the spa to be clearer about the treatment prices and what they are. And if anyone contacts me for a refund of £8, that'd be the minimum.

Not what we expected unenthusiastic staff and no information given at all. Extra amount for robes and towels. They were both far too small. Was not as clean as it should have been and jacuzzi was outside and full of leaves. Couldn't place towels or robes anywhere or use the sauna as was packed. The therapists were not great and didn't give a good service. Its as if they didn't want to be there. Disappointed as meant to have a spa day and left after 2 hours. Never again

Came here with hubby as an anniversary treat. Was a nice drive to the spa. The facilities were not as clean as expected. £10 refundable deposit to hire Robes, Flip Flops and Towels and £6 to hire. (You get to keep the bag and flip flops). The poolside and spa areas were busy and the jacuzzi was outside in this cold weather! Leaves were literally falling into the water and just did not seem hygienic at all. Showers were dirty. We had scalp, back and foot massage after and again it wasn't as good as we expected, I think I left more in pain. The masseuse although was very nice and calm spoken, felt like she didn't want to make contact with my body as I barely felt anything on my feet and during scalp massage.

Fab treatments and friendly, professional staff. Massage was particularly good. Nice to have the outdoor jacuzzi and relaxation room. The pool area was a bit of a let down with a sweaty smell and odd choice of low-lying loungers that were barely off the wet poolside floor.
