General Consulate of Colombia

Poor facilities for a Consulate.They should offer a printer to allow customers to print off documents. And how about a free Colombian Coffe whilst waiting? The whole set up is poor but why would we expect the best from this lot?

How is it possible that you cannot talk to anyone in this rubbish consulate. The only work half a day. The web page is so unfriendly. They keep you forever waiting on the phone with n automated message that someone will be with you shortly!!!! How can we book a simple appointment to get a document stamped?

Absolutely one of the worst experiences of my life! Honestly it was my fault for going in there with high expectations from them. Everyone was very unfriendly and had rude attitudes towards the public. It was very clear that no one had any experience in customer service and how to properly treat people. They thought they were all high and mighty because they're working for colombia abroad.

The best experience. I went to apply for my passport and everything went smoothly. Staff was very nice and helpful. No long waits, just the required time. Excellent service.

I didn't need an appointment and paid £77 for the passport. Also they notify it was ready in less than 10 working days!

Good service, I would suggest to try to speed it up a bit, maybe by scheduling it with an appointment system. Because I had to wait almost 3 hours to renew the passport (something that took no more than 5 minutes).
