Reg Taylor's Garden Centre

A lovely garden centre just outside of Southwell. Great selection of plants that always look in tip top condition. Nice little tea room with selection of very tasty cakes. For the little ones it's worth visiting the wildlife lakes at the back. We always find a little trinket or two there. Can be a little pricey though.

This is a golden gem……lovely little garden centre…but wait….the swan sanctuary! I’ve found my happy place, give it a try, it’s so tranquil and who knew? Driven past it hundreds of times…I won’t anymore 🥰

Huge garden nursery that stock seemingly endless plants and flowers and shrubbery etc.
Walk to the bottom and you can visit the Swan sanctuary which is a gorgeous walk around the ponds and you get to feed the ducks and the chickens etc. Very peaceful!
Most of the staff were lovely bar one who was actually quite rude to my surprise but hey ho.
There's a nice little cafe although it's rather expensive but do very nice tea and scones. Definitely worth visiting ❤️

This garden centre has all the in season plants. It's not cheap however its nice to have a walk around.

Wonderful garden centre. Such a good selection of quality plants and garden equipment. Swan sanctuary and lovely tea rooms/restaurant set a beautiful area.
There are some really impressive gifts in the shop.
We've already been back several times.

Very good traditional English Sunday Lunch, if that's what you like and I do! There usually variations to suit and there are sandwiches and wraps and puddings to die for, and cakes as well.
In fact everything you could wish for, (except burgers and chips)!

Absolutely the best and poshest Garden Centre I’ve ever been to, amazing selection of seeds, plants, trees, pots and everything in between. Amazing advice from the staff. Also a nice cafe with great selection of cakes and a beautiful interior section with stunning artificial flowers.
There is also a nice walk round the swan sanctuary for a small worthwhile fee.

Excellent garden centre, (temporarily) outdoor cafe with great homemade food and coffee. Huge selection of plants, trees etc. Lawnmower shop as well as several houseware and tool shops. Well worth a wander round the Swan sanctuary too which is part of the centre and access is for a small fee. One of my favourite places locally.
