Often visit, and like the food, staff and ambiance. Prices not extortionate. Wish they'd do some kind of deal with the neighbours, as the once stunning view from the terrace is now mostly hidden due to the hedge height across the lane.

First visit. 5 x Adults + 1 x Child in high chair. All ordered Sunday lunch. Wow! BIG meals. Beef and Lamb cooked perfectly. Big Yorkshires. Meal was VERY good. Good selection of wines and beers. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Good selection of other meals on the menu. Reasonably priced. Recommended 👍

All the staff were very welcoming here. Breakfast generous and tasty. Also stayed here for dinner two nights.
Extensive menu with lots of nice vegetarian options. Also good pizza menu.
Sunday roasts were excellent including veg option of curried aubergine bake. No roast chicken but pork was a refreshing change.
Rooms spacious. Clean.
Very dog friendly. Take care on the narrow pavements near to the pub as the road is fairly busy and also narrow.

Very nicely layed out and Dog Friendly Pub. A good selection of Food on the Menu but priced at the higher end. When paying the higher price bracket you expect high quality, unfortunately there's a few areas that require some improvement. The food was only just hot and would appear to have been put on a cool plate, our first round of drinks failed to appear and had clearly been completely forgotten and I asked about leaving a tip which I did, but retrospectively noticed 10% had been added to the bill anyway - poor communication. So it's a good place but could improve

Weekend stay. Excellent meals room and service. Staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. We found them very dog friendly.

Absolutely fantastic pub! We walked here for a drink during our weekend away and were blown away by the hospitality. Not only did the manager recommend some delicious local wines and beer, but he assisted us arranging taxis back to avoid us walking in the dark. Can’t recommend enough! We will certainly be back.

Stopped here for lunch today whilst passing through the area. Spacious, warm, pleasant place to be, nice lunch. Special thanks to the member of staff who helped push my car out of the car park (thick ice today due to recent very cold weather).

Made a last minute decision to finally stop in here after living in the area for 2 years. Was not dissapointed. The staff are exceptional and friendly. I ordered the Vegan Supreme and my partner had the Margherita pizza.
Vegan Pizza - By far a winning choice and possibly the best i've had in terms of flavor. (hats off to the team in the kitchen, nailed it)
Margherita - Sadly didn't quite hit the mark, it should contain - tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, garlic, fresh basil but unfortunately ours only had cheese and pizza base. (just a note for the kitchen for future)
All in all this is a beautiful venue where you will be meeted by great staff and good food. (speaking as a vegetarian, unsure on meat selections)
