Arrived at Honiton minor injuries unit at 7.45pm to find they decided to close their doors early because they had patients still inside. Had to travel to Exeter with a sick child and wait over 7 hours. Not the hospitals fault they are understaffed. But for a hospital to close early because they don't want to have to bother seeing any more patients is disgusting

We are on holidays from Australia and husband suffered a knee i jury. It was suggested that we take him to honiton hospital minor injury unit.
Everyone from receptionists to triage to doctors and radiographers were all were amazing, efficient , friendly and helpful, highly recommend this service.

Took my 93 year old mother in due to painful bloodshot eye. Free parking, efficient check in, assessed and treated and home again within an hour. Thank you Claire the nurse practitioner for excellent service.

Took our 97 father there after a fall one evening. If we had gone to Exeter I know we would have waited for a good 10hrs, but Honiton took 40 mins. The nurses skillfully patched him up and then saw him regularly for outpatient reviews and dressing changes. All done with a smile. NHS at its best. Thanks for all you have done Abbie and colleagues.

Truly awful. Was informed of a 3hr wait on arrival at the MIU, ended up being a 7hr wait with no apology or reason given. Nurses regularly having 20/30min gaps between 1 patient leaving and the next being called in. I guess this is the embarrassment our NHS has become through constant under funding, mis-management and staff no longer caring, just accepting that this is the level of service they provide now.

After a disappointing visit to Exeter A&E my husband visited Honiton MIU with a fat burn. From the first visit it was a excellent experience. Everyone we interacted with has been extremely helpful. Sarah in particular who chased the plastic unit at Plymouth, outstanding. Thank you for the ongoing support

We had an emergency on Friday as my husband tripped and fell. We had to wait a while to be seen but the treatment was excellent. Kind caring thorough and so efficient. Thank you for such wonderful care from people who know what they are doing and who really care.
