The White Hart, Stockbridge

An unpretentious pub for a Sunday roast. However, we ate here on two consecutive weekends and on both occasions they managed to serve food with ingredients containing gluten when gluten-free had been ordered for at least one of our party. Also, for £6.50 the kids spag Bol is outrageously over priced. On balance, we won’t be rushing back.

Popped in just for a lunchtime sandwich. Lovely pint of London Pride and the sandwich was excellent also the main menu looked very nice. Plenty of seating and very strange wash basins in the loo's. Ample parking. Very nice place, will return sometime in the future...

The food (roast pork) was at best mediocre. Crackling as stated in the menu was a small piece of leather. Potato roasted apparently were not crispy, more like boiled. Vegatables were fresh tasting but a bit hard for some of our crew. Yorkshire were burnt so lost the taste and a minimum of gravy. Not worth the money. Staff were pleasant, bar staff use ice to bring the drink to the top. Was not asked if I wanted ice.

Nice pub in a good location on Stockbridge High Street. It's the best value pub in the town. 4 of us had supper there. Two had their fish and chips which were great with generous servings while my burger was good - neither exceptional or bad.

Can't comment about the hotel but restaurant facilities were good. Ideally placed for walking along the Test or strolling in Stockbridge the interior is great (think UK traditional pub). Washroom facilities were excellent. Service was slow but that's not really an issue with friends. Food was good quality pub good.

Fantastic staff, great room!

Booked in and were told that our room had been upgraded and what an upgrade it was!

The room was clean and bright, with a great free standing bath which gave it the wow factor!

Complimentary toiletries and beer were welcomed, nothing negative to say, we will definitely be back .

Food, price and service are excellent.
Highly recommended.
We just popped in to get some food with my wife , but we get a unforgettable experience about food taste and kindness from the waitress!

Really nice old pub with rustic styling, nice warm atomsphere on a wet and windy autumn night. Good food, good service 👌. I had the Wild Mushroom Bourguigon and it was delicious! I hope they do a Sunday roast, I will be going back to find out!
