Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham Town Centre, an IHG Hotel

Welcoming staff and great location, but... horrible stains on the carpets in the room. Though staff offered a partial refund to compensate for the trouble in light of being fully booked, in my humble opinion, a room in this condition is not marketable and shouldn't be offered to guests anyways. On a side note, the advertised swimming pool was not in fact on premises but in a gym across the road and subject to availability - only two people from our party were allowed to get in because of capacity restrictions.

A very clean and tidy hotel. Beds are very small, barely a double size for two people! But the hotel is clean and tidy and breakfast had a good choice of nice foods. Bar was expensive, considering there's a brewery quarter across the road.

We enjoyed or stay at this hotel. The location near the city centre is excellent. Breakfast is very good. Bedroom is clean and comfortable. Bar staff was very friendly but did not seem to know much about mixing and serving drinks, clearly she had not been trained properly. The breakfast crew should smile more!

Great hotel to explore Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. The hotel is in a 5 minute walk to good bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and great value for the price per night. The free complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We were staying here to attend a wedding in a different venue. The hotel let us check in early so we could get ready . The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice. The car park (ncp) is close with discounted rates for guests. Great location a few minutes from town. Great breakfast and takeaway coffee. Some vegetarian sausages/ hash browns would have been move but you can have a full english. Will stay again as we friends in Cheltenham. Brilliant hotel and very reasonable price wise

The place was in a great location, staff greeted us well and we’re helpful. Room was good value, it was clean and tidy with a comfy bed and a great shower! Would definitely stay again in the future and recommend.

I must say I enjoyed my overnight stay / experience at Holiday Inn in Cheltenham. You know what to expect.
Booked a twin room for myself and friend. Good central location and comfortable beds.
Breakfast not to bad at all. Sadly no beans on that morning but won’t hold it against you.
More than likely stay here in the near future.

Room was not great at all. Mould all around the shower in the bathroom. Random door in the room that lead to a strange corridor. Pillows were very hard, not very comfortable to rest your head on… mattress itself was okay. Sink not really designed for practicality, seems to be designed for aesthetic. Very small and circlular. The doors didn’t fit the frame, gaps at the top of doors. Very expensive for the quality
