Planned a staycation here with a 9 month baby. Had high expectations due to the positive reviews but this will be our last time. Service is great, attentive but it’s not baby friendly. First of all, Baby cot mattress is the cheap sponge one covered with white plastic. It’s definitely not breathable hence not safe. For a 5 star hotel that provides guests comfortable pocket spring mattress with goose down duvet, why isn’t it possible to provide safe sleeping options for babies?? Secondly, the in-room fridge doesn’t work. Sent an engineer to fix it but still not working. So drinks in the bridge is room temperature and can’t store baby food. Thirdly, stay away from suites on the second floor. The ceiling height in the middle of the room is so low that if you are 180cm+, you will hit your head easily. Lastly, called the hotel to book an early dinner. Was told the earlier slots at 6:30pm are booked. When we arrived at the hotel at 7:05pm. There was only one table with the rest completely empty. What is this? Stayed in many 5 star hotels in the U.K. and around the world and this is the worst experience so far.

Extremely well maintained hotel and grounds. Outdoor pool, indoor spa, afternoon tea and rich history - The Langley doesn't disappoint!
You can wander the local grounds or take one of the complementary bikes out around to see the wider Langley Park, whichever way you go the surrounds are a lush paradise of well kept gardens.
The afternoon tea was great, the sandwiches were exceptional, cakes and scones were nice but given the extremely broad selection, the tea itself was a little underwhelming. Besides this, the service is fantastic; staff are outgoing and friendly. A great spot!

been here multiple times. fantastic hotel, the spa is incredible and never busy, breakfast is great too - all the staff are helpful and accommodating. easily the best hotel we've been to in england. only minor issue is that the room service menu does not have a lot of variety, would appreciate more chicken dishes!

A place to admire.
They describe the building as palatial and i could not agree more, it is very beautiful, sophisticated and demands your fullest attention.

From the anticipation through the grand drive way into the property, the incredible water fountain at the entrance and beautifully landscaped gardens your eyes and treated to a unique blend of opulence, deco and beauty which I am sure will envoke an awe inspiring experience.

I visited for a meal with my wife and children. The service was on the whole amazing. I mean amazing. The staff are in the background but will actively engage with their guests should anything be required. Hats off to the staff and management for getting this just right.

The food was high quality, well presented and scrumptious.

The Langley deserves five stars, it really should, however I felt I can not extend the extra star on this occasion.
1. Our server, who was also allegedly the bar manager, was ill equipped to provide assurance with regards to the claim the food was halal I.e. when questioned how could we be assured the food was halal and merely responding that the hotel was owned by a Lebanese business man and leaving it as that is simply not enough and to be honest pathetic! If you do not know surely you would offer to find out perhaps? which he was unwilling to do and seemed to think his answer would quite obviously be enough.
2. Unfortunately the same server seemed to have a chip on his shoulder or something as he came across cold and arrogant which made us all feel a little uncomfortable and dampened this part of our evening.

Perhaps this was our bad luck, perhaps he was having a bad day as all the other servers and staff we met were incredible and very welcoming. I don't know.

Nevertheless the Langley is worth your time and needs to be appreciated.

Loved everything about this place. It is so beautiful and like something that was captured from a fairy tail or Bridgerton 😂🤦‍♀️ It is also perfect for weddings. I booked for 1 night via spabreak which I regret, hopefully I will go back soon. Me and my mum loved our spa treatments very much and I appreciate that there is a women’s only section. The staff are friendly … overall a great experience.

A very beautiful hotel.
We went there for lunch in the Cedar restaurant inside the hotel, the service was great and the food was good.
The hotel is very well maintained, clean and very beautifully decorated.
Surrounded by a very huge landscape of gardens and trees.
Definitely worth visiting for a quick getaway in the nature.

A stunningly beautiful location. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.

The hotel itself was maintained to a very high standard with excellent decoration.

The staff were polite and very accommodating.

The hotel has two key dinning areas, the Cedar restaurant, with formal dinning tables. The second is the Churchill bar a more relaxed area with your traditional bar style seating (sofas, lounge chairs, etc.). I cannot fault with both served great food with drinks. However, the Cedar does require suitable smart casual attire.

Overall a brilliant experience, only drawback, was our first day with a rude breakfast staff member, thankfull we did not see him again for the rest of our stay, and it would be wrong to mark down the high standards of everyone else.

Unreal hotel. My mom and I stayed 1 night here on our UK road trip. The property is gorgeous, the hotel itself is crazy beautiful. Every person who worked there was so nice to the both of us. I even got nice room upgrade to a cute suite. The bed was comfortable, the room was cozy and the shower was amazing. We love a waterfall shower.
Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast in the morning was delicious too!
