Holiday Inn Express London - Wandsworth, an IHG Hotel

Overall good. Convenient location for my workplace but went with family. Lovely helpful staff at reception. Clean rooms. However my son could not sleep as the sofabed is so uncomfortable and could feel the poles from bed in his back and our room overlooked the BP garage which can be noisy as well as the construction next door. Close to train station which is good. If they did evening meals as well that would be great.

Extremely impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the service.
I was allowed an early check in and a bump up to a slightly bigger room which was spotless!
Breakfast was delicious and the staff were pleasant and professional.
I would stay here again if I was to visit London as this is out the way of the main city but close enough to a station to travel in quickly.

Easy access to the hotel from on site car park. Easy check in and helpful staff. Nice clean room, good size and comfortable bed. Bathroom also of good size. Only complaint was there was only one chair to sit on in a double room, needs addressing. Evening meals would also improve stay. As disabled people finding an evening meal locally was difficult.

Breakfast amazing. Ignore the guy who rushes you during breakfast by taking all your cups and cleaning the table before you leave despite te breakfast room being half empty.
Housekeeping was excellent.

The facility old and staff is need training. I have reserved in jun for the new year with cheap prices and after two months they upgraded me without my authorization increasing the by £500 for the total. When it get closer the price four times so they cancel my reservation without contacting me. I have stayed with them 2010 and noticed they staff are not great with people and when I call them to explain the cancellation issue, they acted as it is never reserved and asked to book with for the new prices that I can get greater place 4-5 star in London and cheaper than them. I would not recommend it at all

Payed £365 for a room with 2x double beds. The carpet desperately needed a wash (it had obviously been hoovered but was filthy) and the extractor in the bathroom was completely clogged with dust. I put the shower on it and loads came out but it was still caked. I mentioned to reception in the morning (I hadn’t done it before as we had got in late with young children). Receptionist made a note of it but wasn’t bothered.
Beds comfy, breakfast good. No way worth the amount we paid.

The room was adequate as we were only there for short periods of time on our two night stay. The room was clean but quite small. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast . It was disgusting. Something large and black came out in my orange juice. There was a bowl of oranges that were clearly too old to be eaten and there were long hairs in the bowl. The latte out of the machine was not drinkable.

So do not stay here for the free breakfast. We couldn’t eat there either day after seeing that.

The hotel itself is in a bit of an odd location for tourists but fantastic for people working in the area or those fancying a commute into town to explore .

Check in was quick and efficient, no issues and Knowledgeable staff .

The room ... very spacious, comfy bed, sofa was decent enough, bathroom spot on and all was very clean, one reason I didn't give 5 stars ... no plug sockets by the bed, that's about the only downside to the room ... lack of plug sockets .

One thing that really did make me think wow (in a bad way) 5.40 for a 440ml can of Guinness, wasn't even cold.

Hotel perfectly adequate for a night or two just don't drink in the bar.
