Check in took two attempts as the person greeting us didn't do the proper car registering procedure (despite us telling them) so we had to do it rushed 5 mins before our taxi arrived.
We left before the shuttle bus ran, so they booked us taxis which didn't cost too much.

The rooms a very nice with tea, coffee and well equip bathrooms. The pillows are very fluffy, if you like that. The rooms are fairly soundproof but we could hear celebrations happening somewhere around us which made it harder to sleep.
I would recommend for a painless overnight stay before an early flight.

My wife and I have stayed many times at this hotel. We always leave our car which is perfectly safe. The rooms are adequate and clean and they can provide a return journey to the airport for just £6 per person. I can thoroughly recommend this competitively priced hotel for peace of mind. Mr Green

Love staying here before flight's, or after. Staff are welcoming, rooms are clean and tidy with fairly good space. Restaurant on site which is reasonable and good. Lots of amenities nearby, pubs, takeaways and a Sainsbury's across the road. Parking is available on site and is reasonably priced, as is the shuttle service or taxi service to and from the airport.

I don't normally write reviews but on this occasion I just had too.
Hotel is clean and tidy but basic.
Room is fine and clean, but the worst shower ever. No power, if it's raining, take your shower gel and go out side.
Food in the bar is very basic I had a pizza, and my partner had a burger. It was just Okay nothing special at all.
My biggest problem was that they don't take cash unless you have the correct amount, they have no change or so they say. I'm sure that this practice is illegal, as money is a the legal currency. I could be wrong but I'm sure I'm not.
It's not the best of hotels, but for one night it's just about bearable.

Ok. Parking deal is good if required for flights. Night receptionist wasn't particularly helpful or welcoming on our return. We'd booked a double room and was given 3 single beds. Bed felt like it hadn't been changed properly....creased sheets. Bathroom floor was gross. They moved my car from parking space which was a concern. Arrival receptionist was very nice.

Breakfast was not very good, E.g. basic range of cereals, fruit juices and poor quality sausages etc. For the price I would expect a higher standard. On return, shuttle bus took over 45 minutes to arrive despite being told the driver would be with us in 20 - 25 minutes (nowhere near the 15 to 20 min they advertise) and the roads at that time were clear with no hold ups. Not good when you have a 3 hour journey home from the hotel. I judge hotel standards by those set by Premier Inn and this hotel sadly fell short of that standard. They only get you once so I suppose they don’t care. Worth paying a bit extra to get a better hotel in future.

If I could give no stars I would. We arrived here at 9pm at night to discover that the booking we made in February was cancelled, as the hotel has been taken over by the home office and used as a hostel for refugees. It would have been nice to have at least been told! No contact made at all by the hotel!!! Thankfully the manager was able to arrange us a hotel elsewhere for the same conditions. However when chatting to the staff at another hotel apparently this has been occurring since the initial 2020 lockdown so why on earth were we allowed to book in???? Not what you need ahead of an early morning long flight that’s for sure! :(

Hotel exterior very run down but improves a bit when inside. Alot of furnishings are old and musty but reasonably clean. Rooms we fair fornthe price and an big improvement on the rest of the hotel. When we request additional pillows for the rooms as only 1 single and very thin pillownwas provided we were refused stating covid as the reason. This hasnt been the case in any of the previous hotels on our trip. The bath towels are very small and if i required another i presume i would be refused also. Breakfast was poor. Delivered to our room in a doggy bag the evening previous at around 6pm. It contained a capri sun, and apple, 2 croissants and a yogurt. Unfortunately there is no where in the room to store these and as the day was 20 degrees we would not risk the yogurt. The apple had softened significantly and the juice was not cold. Very Sub standard breakfast. In general all aspects of this stay were sub standard and every other hotel I have stayed in (at similar prices) offered a much better service and quality.
