Ibis London Elstree Borehamwood

Rooms were underwhelming, not the standard I'm used to from Ibis hotels. We were given a disabled room at first (not what we had booked because we're not disabled but apparently the rest of the rooms were full), the first room had a funky smell so we changed upon seeing. The second (disabled) room was better, however it lacked in terms of cleanliness. The shower chair was gross, no place to put your shower essentials and the overall bathroom would get flooded after a shower without a floor wiper to get rid of the water. After one night the airco started leaking badly (with 40+ degrees it was very needed) but we couldn't change until the morning. I understand this is something no one could have foreseen so that's not why I rate this hotel lowly. We were moved to another room which smelled like pee, but since it was only one night we didn't feel like changing yet again.

Great things were the staff, the big parking lot available and the breakfast.

Summary, bed was OK, great that there's airco in the room, missed having a fridge, floor wiper and toilet brush. Service was good, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good.

Lovely staff very helpful whenever we needed anything, the hotel is very welcoming. With a Bar/restaurant and pool table as well. Every staff member was very polite, can't fault the service provided. If ever I'm in the London area again would stay here again

We had to stay in this hotel during our house renovation. In short, it’s a nice hotel, clean ,compact room, but not too many towels and plugs ,and I missed one more bin in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My favorite thing was a shower cabin, really good. Prices are very suitable and the hotel is very recommended.

Ibis hotels are generally very good. This one is. As a single female traveller I get everything safely under one roof. Very clean, comfortable, nice staff

I didn't like this area very much and didn't venture far, but felt very safe in the hotel.

Had a lovely overnight stay after seeing a show in London with a coach company. Easy check in. Room was very nice, plenty of space for clothes spotlessly clean. Bathroom and shower great. Had a great buffet dinner, breakfast was great also wish we had been staying 2 nights. Staff friendly. Thank you

Just come home from 2 nights stay . The hotel is extremely handy for Elstree Studios . It was exceptionally clean and the rooms were well fitted out we had good nights sleep in the comfy bed and the shower was brilliant. Food is available 24 hours a day and tasted great . All the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

It is a pleasure to come back. This hotel has everything you need! The rooms are clean and also the bathrooms, spotless rooms and bedrooms. Food is fresh and the housekeeping is always around to help! Well done, very good hotel!

The hotel is clean and well run. The staff are LOVELY!
We had four rooms on floor four.
Clean, big bath towels, super shower.
The bed was comfy.
My one request would be a small retractable mirror fitted to the side of the hanging cupboard for doing make up.
