Great atmosphere. Great value drinks. Bottles of wine much cheaper here than any other pubs. Food mediocre but fish and chips always a good choice. The pub itself is a lovely building, and the outside space is great. Love the decor and outside lighting. They have a fabulous stage, and it would be amazing if they had live music.

A great pub! Friendly environment, lots of space (wheelchair accessible) and seats (both indoors and outdoors) available. Helpful staff who seem quite friendly and welcoming. A good variety of food available each day and a well stocked bar! Great prices on everything too.

The rooms are pleasant and warm, and the beds comfortable. The bathroom in the room I started in was particularly large with a walk in shower. You have to queue at the bar and wait for service to get checked in; an unnecessary frustration with the experience jarring with the concept of hospitality. Service in the bar area varies. One evening I stayed, the service was all young and male and was noticeably less professional with the team seemingly oblivious that their language in the bar could be over heard in the eating area. The following evening was better when the servers were a more diverse mix.

The room, it was warm and nice.
Free water in bottles, tea, coffee, kettle.
Need to wash the curtains from windows.
Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly. Best food prices.

Stopped off on my walk with my new dog for a pint. I knew dogs weren't allowed so I sat at one of the many outdoor tables and ordered on the app. When the barman saw my dog he said they didn't allow dogs on the premises, even outside. He was very nice and said I could drink my pint. He was a dog owner himself and said they get a lot of complaints especially in the summer.

Fortunately I can walk to another pub near me. They welcome dogs inside and out. That's where I'll be going in the future.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, reviews are mostly regarding the pub and not the hotel itself which creates the deception of good reviews.
Pillows have feathers inside which are pointed from the other side and will poke you when you touch or put weight (doesn’t make ANY sense)
House keeping is basically the worst you would find anywhere in the world for a so called 3 star hotel. It’s like they don’t want to clean the room and will just throw in some towels and make it look like they did.
Mold in bathroom. When mentioned they’d show they care but couldn’t care any less. Mismanagement from all sides.
If anyone challenges this review, keep in mind I have evidence of almost everything mentioned above.

We stayed 3 nights and the staff were brilliant throughout our time there and couldn't do enough when needed. We would recommend The Greenwood if you are looking for a place to stay if you are in the London area at a very reasonable price . 5 🌟
