Did not even stay the night got bitten by something on my ankle, the room smelt of cigarette smoke that had been in the room for years and gotten into the carpets, curtains and walls made me feel sick and clothes smell. Some one tried my door more than 3 occasions why I was their, couldn’t asked to be moved rooms as when I checked in they had one ground floor the other was 2 floors up and I’m disabled and can’t mage the stairs. Also stated ther was a leak in the room and the floor was wet! The hall out side my room was pitch black no lighting and I felt very unsafe and had a panic attack.Thee rooms are very dated and do not look any thing like the photos in the reviews.iv added photos of the dark unsafe hallway outside my room!

Good room layout, though could have been cleaner...paintwork on dressing table had had coffee or tea spilled on it, not wiped off. Ceiling of bathroom shappy around the vent. Other than that, comfortable and cosy. Great night's sleep.

I worked at this hotel and it’s absolutely not clean at all if only you could see how they clean the rooms no one would step foot in there dirty towels that people have used the night before is cleaning your room .. not hovered they pic bits up with there fingers the cups are not cleaned out correctly and the bedding is left on from previous guests and the hotel manger is very rude and the homeless get treated disgusting not even aloud a bed change even tho the council pay for the room I will be taking what I seen further because it’s disgusting and people deserve clean rooms and bedding

Staff were great, looked a little shabby from outside but room was clean, big and comfortable. Reasonable price and not one complaint

Small double bed, which was uncomfortable. Overall hotel is tired, outdated and badly in need of refurbishment. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going back. Might be time for the whole place to be torn down and the space reused. On the plus side, free parking with your stay and a great location.

This is an amazing hotel, Staff are so helpful and friendly and want to help in anyway they can. It wasn’t the best reason why I had to stay here (my husband was in the local hospital) but they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. My room was clean and tidy on arrival and was cleaned there after everyday. The cost of the hotel was good too. Complimentary water whenever I wanted it and tea and coffee facilities in the room. I would happily to stay here again but hopefully under better circumstances for me.

Pros I had a suite with a chandelier and four poster bed. It was comfortable, huge bathroom with shower too, tea and coffee in room. Cons it's dated and it's in the middle of town so it took a while to get there. It's decent for a budget hotel and I felt safe so thumbs up.
