Premier Inn hotels are usually uninspiring...but this one excelled in that regard. Most of the menu at the restaurant was unavailable, the option selected was pretty rubbish. The whole place had the air of it waiting for a bullet from senior management. Staff were very nice though, and the room was up to the usual standard.

Perfect location, just out the way of the centre but only a 5 minute walk in, staff are very helpful and attending, food is good, the bar/restaurant overlooking the cricket ground is also a unique nice touch and as usual the rooms are great

My girlfriend and I stayed here just before Christmas and it was really very nice.

It's in a fantastic location and easily accessible.

The room was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. The people at check in we're also very polite and professional.

The only downside was that the AC only went down to 19° and often turned off in the middle of the night. This meant us waking up quite warm but it wasn't a big deal.

Food availability poor, could not even do a pizza. Very disappointed. Worst for food I have stayed in. Staff friendly and room was very clean. Everything but the food was ok and when you are restricted to choice and you have pre paid you expect to be able to get something. Had to make a meal out of sides and starters.

Overnight stay for works Christmas party nearby. Rooms clean and location excellent, great view of the river and City from our room. One small issue over not enough towels, but soon sorted with a quick trip to reception. Staff i encountered were friendly and professional, didn't have breakfast, as had to leave early the next morning.

Make sure you keep your Parking ticket. I stopped in the Hotel on the 9th December and left on the 10th, after parking the car for 18 hours in total. I paid for 24hrs parking, so Imagine my surprise when i received a parking ticket for £100 on the 15th December stating I hadn't paid. I initially paid the fine to give me more time to find the receipt which i did. I have since disputed the claim which clearly shows I paid. I have given them 14 days to repay me what they owe else the fee will double, like they said to me..... be careful people. Company is called Parking Eye, clearly they have no eye, as they would have seen i've paid and they clearly know nothing about parking....

Once again stayed for a month. Everything excellent. Staff professional, friendly and work really hard to make your stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and warm.
Lovely views of the cricket ground or the river.
Thank you all to the brilliant team.
