We got married here in 2019.. we wanted to return for our anniversary but there was a pandemic so we planned to visit this year and as we kept an eye on FB feeds about Ciro and his labor of love to keep this amazing place running, alas he couldn't, so we visited today as the restaurant part of the business closes.. So the hotel part is running but it will be just bedroom stay no food or bar.

Ciro put on a lovely show, live music, elite cars, all sorts of food and the pizzas from the farewell restaurant... The last four they will cook pre closure.

I fully recommend visiting and will attempt to book a room for our anniversary but sadly due to my husband having an accident with left him a paraplegic, bedrooms that cater for his needs are rare.. But when we started here on out wedding night, it was amazing, clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff are amazing too. Love the hotel will miss the rest.

Unfortunately a disappointing stay here recently. The rooms are probably 10 years behind the times, with very basic facilities (if they even work!). Paper thin walls let you hear everything that your neighbour is talking about. However, reception was mostly helpful despite trying to charge me twice for my stay. Rumours are its closing, so I would try and find the nearest Premier Inn if you’re looking to stay in the area. On site restaurant now closed, and breakfast is a small table in the foyer with shop bought pastries. I would say the stay was more like a £30 tariff, not the £70 I paid. Huge car park also attracted the local youth who screamed and shouted for almost an hour in the middle of the night. A sad state of affairs, for what was probably once a nice hotel and location. An extra star for the helpful reception.

Great looking place that must be amazing when it was in full swing. Unfortunately no on site food or bar was available during our visit which was a great shame. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A stunning hotel with some superb car and bike meets held there. Where you can get to see a variety of lambos, Ferraris etc. The hotel is also famous for its weddings. It's also currently up for sale and would make a good buy for someone wanting to further it's progression.

AVOID HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.
Quite simply awful and that starts from staff members at the front desk. Welcomed by an incredibly rude lady from my initial contact with the hotel who outright lied to my face. The way she spoke to us was quite outstanding considering we were there customers. Strongly advise getting everything in writing before booking. However, I also advise don't book here and spend a little bit more money elsewhere as it was the worst customer experience I have ever had. Hotel is clearly struggling.

Quite disappointing for the price. £156 for 2 nights for 2 people in a double bed that was just 2 singles pushed together. Desk far too close to one side of the bed with not much room to get past. Tiny tv which was barely visible from the bed. Bathroom was ok other than the door which kept sticking. Advertising free breakfast which was just a small muffin a yogurt and a small bottle of juice. That was because the advertised restaurant attached to the hotel is closed and has been for months. And one of the bedside lights didn’t work which we reported to the staff member at reception to which she told us she would send someone up to fix it but no one came up. Receptionist was otherwise very helpful. Ended up travelling into Bedford for food both nights due to the lack of places around.

No one was on reception at 19:30 and even stood there and rang the desk and still no one attended...try a cordless phone.

Checked in and headed off to my room, room 303.
Only issue is that someone was already occupying the room, lucky they were not in but all their personal belongings were.
Clothes on the bed, toiletries in the bathroom, perfumes and valuables on the desk...back down to reception and after explaining it was put to me that housekeeping had not made the room up...no it's not house keeping the room is being lived in.
Only one room left...the bridal suite.
2 things here.
1. If you were the bride you'd be disappointed, big room but drab and tired Really in need of a coat of paint and dusting..really, really needed dusting, It was Halloween weekend so maybe the cobwebs on the light fitting were there to add to the atmosphere.
2. No bulbs in the bedside lamps, no pillows on the bed and no batteries in the TV remote, fridge turned off and hadn't see the sharp end of a Hoover for a while.

Look if you're looking to put your head down with no frills (and no breakfast) this is the place for you.

On the plus side..the car park is nice.
