Farington Lodge Hotel

Had my wedding at Farrington Lodge on the 23rd July and couldn't thank the staff and Jennifer enough for what they done to make our day go smoothly, the wedding breakfast and buffet was fantastic, the rooms were clean and tidy and the staff would do anything for you. The grounds are amazing for photos

Went to a weeding on Saturday. Brilliant day from start to finish . Food and drink was very good . All staff were very polite and efficient. Would definitely recommend this as a wedding venue.

Gifted with a voucher via Virgin Experience and took a friend for afternoon tea. Easier to phone the venue to arrange a chosen date rather than book online, as the room has very limited availability for afternoon tea days. It is often booked by external companies for conferences etc (as explained to me by the receptionist on phoning to book a date).
Welcomed on arrival, service from staff could not be faulted. Had Deluxe afternoon tea, food and drinks were all very fresh and tasty. Due to popularity the venue was full but still very pleasant.
My friend had been once before approx 14 years ago and showed me a photograph from that day... Same decor and curtains, although fresh carpets!
All in all no complaints, very good service, food in a relaxing setting. Will go again. Perhaps fresh decor should be considered to bring the room a little more up to date, as feels like stepping back into the 1980s....

Absolute luxury. Should be 4 star. The staff weren't in my face. I was treated with respect during my 4 night stay.
Breakfast was consistently delightful.

Myself and my now HUSBAND got married here on the 15th october 2022.
Everything from initially booking the venue, step by step with my wedding coordinator Jennifer to our day was perfect.
I cannot fault the staff in any way! Absolutely worked their socks off from start to finish and made it so amazing. Cant thank them enough. Its been truly magical.

We stayed here last night for the Elton John party night.
Rooms- comfy- clean and spacious. Good shower in the bathroom.
The food was excellent served hot and to perfection. A three course meal and coffee, mince pie plus the entertainment for only £45.
The staff go above and beyond. Damien especially was a treasure.
Would highly recommend a visit. Breakfast cooked to order. The property itself is beautiful just like downtown abbey. This is a ideal location for a party or a wedding. I was impressed with the service considering the amount of people they was catering for. I would also like to say the vegetarian option was fantastic obviously a high class chef. Thankyou to all the team.

From the moment we arrived we were made incredibly welcome. We had our two dogs with us and they too were made feel welcome. Paul, Sam and Molly could not do enough for us. We were treated like royalty, they prepared a private lounge for us including private dining so that our dogs were relaxed and able to stay with us throughout our full experience of this beautiful hotel. The food was also amazing and served with a smile. Breakfast was very exciting for our dogs as they were served sausage just for them. I would highly recommend anyone to visit this welcoming, spotless, warm and exceptional service. Paul, Sam and Molly should be recognised for their service and we hope they are on duty when we next visit. Thank you.

We booked for 2 nights over new year, checked in no problem, came down for lunch to be told sorry the hotel closes new years day after breakfast but as a good will gesture we wouldn't be charged for the second night. Made to feel like it was our mistake even though we booked direct with the hotel Food was a bit disappointing as not much choice for breakfast and the cooked option was on the cool side.
