Guestling Hall Hotel

Spacious and clean room, wonderful staff. The grounds and outside of the hotel are a little tired, needs a decent refurb. The public areas are clean and the lounge and main seating area is very comfortable.
Excellent welcome with a complimentary glass of home grown wine, very nice.
The breakfast was excellent, fresh and quality ingredients. Good location for exploring Hastings, would definitely stay here again

Absolutely amazing! A quiet location with a really nice room with comfy bed. Lovely well presented dining and lounge areas. Breakfast was extremely good. Will definitely be back soon

The welcome we received was like no other. So friendy, professional and informative. The history of the house was fully and interestingly explained. The ambiance is perfect, warm and welcoming. The hosts Craig and Caroline are so friendly and professional in equal amounts. The rooms very clean, with nice beds, bedding and towels. The breakfast was perfect with home baked bread. The dinner was perfect, good portions and very tasty. The selection of gins is phenomenal. Caroline took time to talk through the different flavours. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Will definitely be back again. Please do not change a thing everything is perfect. If you enjoy a quirky and unique hotel this is the place for you.

Caroline, the manager/ host and the friendly chef were outstanding. Caroline greeted us with a free glass of wine and, as I was a little upset, gave me a big hug. The surroundings were quirky, but comfy, homely, very clean and relaxing. Only problem was our room, (attic room number 1) although gorgeous not suitable if, as with myself, your knees or legs are not top notch. We were offered another room with no hesitation, but we were too comfy and lazy to move 🤭

This was such a lovely, cosy hotel with very friendly staff. We received a welcome drink, had a lovely room and a delicious cooked breakfast. It was only a 10 minute drive into Hastings so a great location. Would definitely stay again

Currently staying at Guestling Hall Hotel. Snow and horrendous driving conditions here has resulted in several vehicles being involved in accidents. The management at hotel have been
fantastic welcoming in stranded motorists to their hotel and giving them a warm place to stay and as many hot drinks as needed. Well done Craig and Caroline

New Mgmt has taken over in Dec 2022 and really changing the place up for the better. Much more attention and focus on getting better quality food from local butchers. Really very exciting to see what this place can become in the coming months. Great revival.
